I got some badass thick ties from Ebay, hung my fan with them lol..... @Nelly Nugs is a good idea too

With regard too my light, I might just put the ropes through it and lift it. With the ballast outside the tent the heat should be more manageable I would have thought? Do the lights themselves give off much heat?

No they don't. Can only feel them if you put your hand right up close.

Are you sure your plants are too close.?Couldnt really see from your pic but they looked OK. The manual they send with the light has d the distances

Mines probably about gas close as yours actually. The heat in there atm is quite high. I’m definitely taking the ballasts out tomorrow and putting in my spare 4inch extractor fan if needed.

Luckley I had a spare carabiner lying around. Those small ones don't fit around the polls for some stupid reason. Waste of time sending them out.

move figured it out. Ballasts on top of the tent. I’ll have too put them in something heat resistant, filter inside for odour and pull the lights up tight too the ceiling. Do you run yours at 100%?
