I know!
Feels like I got lost in a THC time warp. Glad I have this journal to double check germination dates. Still hard to believe,
Tyrone Special is supposed to go 65 days, not 51.
Would you harvest now? The Cola tops seem to have milky trichomes:
These sugar leaves were loaded with trichomes before I brushed against them, doh!
Clumsy grower syndrome.
Can we get a whole plant pic? Trichs don't lie, maybe stress caused it to speed up? Maybe it's a fast as hell pheno? Sometimes it takes a bit to really amber up though...

Sure, here is a whole plant pic from 2 days ago, they look about the same today.
The sugar leaves look more than 10% amber with some turning from amber to brown.
Would you snip them off to separate from the main cola? They are ok for experimenting, but I don't want CBN messing up my crack buzz. I dunno, this my third harvest, still learning about chopping and curing.
Thank you 4n12c, do you mean 25% less pistils or 25% less trichomes?
Harvesting confuses me, I bet most bag weed is from a crappy harvest, over ripened to boost the yield.
I have been reading some old posts from @A4 about harvesting early with few amber trichomes....
Hmmm, with 10 colas... I can chop some early and some late.
Maybe just 2 colas today:
They were 100 grams before trim, I tried to trim closely get those ambers off my nice crack buds.
I am very happy with 73g wet from 2 colas.
8 more colas to go... maybe chop the 2 ripest each day?
Ahh the elusive obvious. (that is meant as compliment)
I will snip and vape a little piece right now. You know... for science.
Thanks Scally420, at least it keeps my hands off the scissors.
Thanks very much for sharing your rule of thumb about harvesting. You have about 100 times more experience than me.
So your goal for Sativa/Indica Hybrids like Tyrone Special is all cloudy, no amber or as little as possible?
Do you chop as soon as you see the first amber on sugar leaves?
