Mephisto Genetics SODK x Alien K.I.S.S

Enough to finish the mothers and see what is good.

Exactly!
You could even wait until all the mothers are dead and smoked to chose the winner.
The cuttings or their children will still be growing. Exact copies.

And you could run a perpetual autoflower mother in one container.
Plant a few cuttings directly in the soil with the mother. (I have tried, it works)
A perpetual harvest every 30 days in one container. All from one seed.

Yep check the thread, clone wasn't much. But it would produce some beans for sure.
Yikes back in 2012. The good old days.

"Clearly we have been missing a valuable breeding tool. Who ever said you can't clone auto's can take a long hard look!
Look at the size of it. I could get a couple thousand seeds from this thing in full flower. I also have a few 2nd gen cuts from this going too. So we'll see how long I can keep a cut going." -Northern Grower

Wow, four years ago. You have a good memory. I barely remember yesterdays breakfast.
Excellent info, thanks for the link to the thread.

Yes, this is it, @micro.grower describes it well.
The clones will start throwing crazy looking reveg style leafs...
I have noticed about a two week stall when I cloned an auto...

THIS is the kind of stuff I like to see! I'll need to go thru the whole thread but I like what I see! If a clone can be grown to a size worth the effort then lets do it! My experience was not successful but I'm more than willing try again! I'd love to clone autos. I suspect some may be more agreeable to it than others, as are some photo period plants. And I've wondered if sativa dominant plants might be more agreeable to it. This should be in Frankenstein's Lab!

Wish I'd seen this thread sooner! This is my kind of grow! KISS is the only way to go!
I'll be reading thru the thread this morning as I have time. Packing for a trip to Florida. Texas Tomato Food huh? I LOVE it!

No ph'ing of soilless........hmmm....

STRAIN: Sour Orange Diesel Kush x Alien OG
SOIL: Peat moss + 10% vermiculite + Perlite + old roots + diatomaceous earth
CONTAINER: 15 liter Superoots Air Pot
LIGHTS: cheap CFL, 24 hours
NUTES: Texas Tomato Food, $28 per gallon on Amazon. NPK is 3.8 - 3.1 - 7.0 based on "percentage of weight"
View attachment 497177

One bottle of nutes from start to finish, nothing else. With just one bottle I have a decent chance of fertilizing correctly. The goal is to fertilize lightly (500 ppm, 1 EC) at every watering so there are always nutrients near those millions of little root hairs.

no grow light cycles,
no mixing bottles of A & B
no Ph adjustments
no calmag
no force feeding
no flushing.....
Simple.

9 plants and 20 cuttings with Tomato bloom nutes Start to finish. 500 PPM every watering.
I mostly tried it for fun, and it worked well so I kept doing it.
Maybe its time to grow with full nitrogen nutes for comparison, have I been crippling my girls? Oh no! :yoinks:
The yield and high are excellent, but the aromas are mild. Maybe that is a good thing, stinky plants are higher risk.

Time to go organic! it just fits KISS perfectly!

The entire nute industry is a bunch of thieves, these are just the pinnacle of the shit heap!

LOL, just having fun. You are invited.
But, I am guilty.... I like killing sacred cows. I like finding truth even more.

Gobsmacked that Aptus marketing works so well.
But their ethics...well...um... Their salesburger strongly implies they created FaSilitor.
Naw, they buy the stuff in wholesale in 50 gallon drums and put it in an orange bottle.

I'm waiting for a double blind comparison of 50 clones... Aptus FaSilitor vs generic silicon.
The difference should be amazing, right? Because extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Yeah, I get at annoyed about it sometimes. It bugs me that most of the nute money is buying fairytales. Most companies are not innovating, they bring nothing new, just repackaged nutes and clever marketing. That nute money might be better spent on good seeds from the best breeders.

I want try TLO (true living organic) but I am reusing my soil. Now starting the 4th reuse. It seems to work. Leaving the roots in the container saves a lot of mess. I wonder how many times I can reuse soil. Peat moss is supposed to break down after a few years.
