Dutch Passion Blackberry Kush K.I.S.S

quality looks great but I am worried that the quantity was not there. PM me if you feel disappointed by the outcome Hubba

I was intentionally growing small. Stealth grower, so I don't need yield.
Maybe one less FIM and she would grown happier. If I wanted yield I would use @Hazy's fantastic canning method.
I got what I wanted... enough berry flavored buds for 50 highs. :d5:

I will grow her again: fast, good aroma, VERY pretty and...
And the high seems refined and polished, no raw rough edges, no side effects.
A smooth mellow down.
Like coming home after a long day and settling into a favorite chair.

BlackBerry Kush, final harvest 23 grams wet.

Same buds with a dark background:

Those are the prettiest nuggets. Not the biggest, or the densest, but 10 out of 10 for photogenic beauty. The purple really makes the frost stand out.

Nice looking buds! On my BBK which is coming down today the buds pretty much stayed the normal color but all the fan leaves and the smaller ones also turned purple as they aged. I've seen other grows with purple buds and green leaves but mine was just the opposite. It really doesn't make any difference to me as long as the smoke is good. Pipes

Nice looking buds!

Thanks man,
I see your plant gave a good yield. 300 grams, congratulations

This was my first grow with Dutch Passion.
It is great to be allowed to post a crazy experiment like this without any negative comments, all good vibes.

It would be idiotic to jump to conclusions based on one plant, so that is what I will do now.
If I remember right, Blackberry Kush comes from Auto Blueberry, child of the Blueberry photo period.
Blueberry is famous for being genetically stable, in other words repeatedly inbred for a specific purpose.

I think Blackberry Kush is like a race car, a fantastic ride on a good road.
I took her off road, rocks, mud, a couple of jumps... Bent the racing frame, smashed the aerodynamic shape, flattened the tires.
From that perspective, I am thrilled with the quality, content with the yield, and happy that she made it across the finish line.

There are lots of Journals showing that Blackberry performs very well if kept on road.
Next time I will keep her closer to the autobahn.

Trivia: she got 50 watts of CFL, all from the side, none from the top. Maybe side lighting penetrated better and brought out darker purples.

BlackBerry Kush vape tested:
So this is what a smooth stone feels like. I like it.

I'm used to more intensely focused highs:
-Wild hallucinations
-Horny goat Weed aphrodisiac
-Catatonic couch lock
-Raving manic energy
-Greek god euphoria

This has some from all of that wild stuff, blended smoothly together
with a theme of warm friendliness no bad side-effects.

If someone wanted to try weed for the first time, this is what I would give them. Seems like "do no harm" weed....have a safe trip.

Thanks Roark, I like your creative growing ideas.
Did you have a similar high with Blackberry Kush. I've only tried it a few times. I might be full of shit.

Have you ever had good weed bite you?
You get high a few times and it is good, then... same weed, same buds, same dose...bad.
I get the impression that won't happen with Blackberry Kush. It feels safe and reliable, no surprises.
But, like the Economists and Climatologists always say....more research required.

Interesting that you mention this just now, Hubbabubba! Just by coincidence, I had a little test-taste of my ABBK last night. She is still has a couple of weeks to go, so I just took a lil tiny bit and speed dried and vaped it with my husband. Woke up this morning thinking: oh I want more of that! Memories of that warm fuzzy stone and those big goofy grins and giggles from my hubby lol! I'm a nervous type who tends to get elevated heartbeat and sometimes even paranoid, so I'm really excited that last night's stone was soothing, expansive, and happy.
