Zeromitch - update #1
Sorry I'm late to the show i had things come up but better now than never :smoking:

Strain: Trizkits
Day 1: 8/23/21

I put my seed in rainwater with a pinch of tm-7, 2 drops of h202, and a pinch of bigfoot mycorrhizae and 24 hours later had a tail. Next day i put her in some soil in my citypicker SIP and here we are.

Current setup:
2.3x2.3 tent
1.5 cu. Citypicker SIP (earthbox style)
50% Cooked living soil i made 4-5 months ago and 50% Miracle-gro moisture control (i ran out of living soil lol
Tossed some bokashi on top and sprayed it down and mulched with barley straw.
I have BuildaFlower, craft blend, and worm castings to help feed this girl

Lighting:
x2 Growstar 110W here they are on amazon, i bought them for $60 each now they are $39 ; /
I'm not that impressed with them, they make short plants but i did get 200g off 4 plants and 87g from 2 plants with them so they do grow buds.

@Twenty20 Adam these gals are still in veg at over 5 weeks (day 37) .....is this normal mate?
I keep training em out and they keep filling out... They look a little washed out in the pic but at lights out they look lovely.. Did you have any really long versions in the testers? Or any that went photo?

Cheers mate :d5: :vibes:

Unconventional start may have held them back a bit bro.. plus I just looked back and see that my big gogo was into 40 odd days before she started to flower.. just couple thoughts.

Yeah the start didn't help any, to be honest even though they are a bit long for me, I'm in a great position to have them well lst'd before the stretch like your go go, and I think I'll get a much bigger yield this way... I think I'm going to do long ones in one half of the 4x8 and find some super quick varieties to run in the other half.. That way I can get the best of both worlds. :d5:

It's the finding of those super quick ones m8 lol 80/90% I think run well over advertised times.. mephisto always about 70 days but impossible to get.. stuff of legend now fs.

So true mate... I've got an in on insta with a seed company, I'm sounding him out about a genuine super fast indica.... I can't do sativas and I can feel hybrids pulling me between anxiety and sleep which is a grim feeling for me

Yer I hear you I’m an indica guy it’s fast strong and dose what it says on the tin you should try the tricks that ticked all the boxes for me and only 69 days over 9 oz was a killer plant. This was her at 39 days.

Cheers mate :d5:
Hahaha!! Oh that strain. Yeah your plants look really small for 37 days. We just finished an absolutely fantastic round of that strain I think we had about 60-70 of them And they turned out gorgeous. None of them were photoperiod. We're planning on running another R&D round soon. I'm sorry they're pushing the edge of your preferred time limit. Because we make our autos "from scratch" by converting photo periods over it usually takes us quite a while to shave the time down to the preferred 70 day range. I think we harvested ours at 80 or 85 days (I need to check with the crew). @Waira is running the same strain and I believe his took a little longer than normal to start flowering as well. I've noted that most of the AFN guys are much more interested in the faster strain so I will start trying to be more clear on which ones tend to be on the fast side versus the slow side. Another issue we have to deal with which I explain to @Waira already Is that we also have a big client base of commercial outdoor growers and they want big yielding plants And tend to care less about the extra 10 or 20 days if they can get a 6-ft plant versus a 3-ft plant. It's tough to get 70 day autos outdoors and still yield over 8 oz. Tough but not impossible! It's actually our goal is to hone these things into appease both crowds! Have patience with your plants as I'm sure you will be pleasantly surprised by the outcome. Have a fantastic day my friend!
