I'm in the same boat. I have to add another tent myself in January but I want to start that tent with only hydro and then gradually phase out the soil grows from the big room. I've also just bought all my seeds for the next 6 months so in January I'll be planting one photo (Haze and cheese selections) a week, to keep a harvest of one photo a week, with probably 2 autos along with it for personal smoke. The whole hydro thing has me baffled though to be honest, I hear like epm or is it ecm? etc and it just doesn't mean anything to me. I grow in soil and read the plants, it's a very forgiving medium, but I'm in a built up area so it's not sustainable getting rid of 30 lts of soil in the bin. So hydro and probably LEDs for the new tent and a mix of bubble buckets and soil then till I get rid of all the soil plants? I really dunno.

nah lyka thats fine and honestly guys hydro with rockwool is just as forgiving as soil so far and even more so to an extent than soil. just go light on the nutrients and you should be good if your already reading your soil grows correctly. the transition went flawlessly even truth be told i was a complete nervous wreck when i was planning it out. now i can't believe i didn't do this sooner. could have pulled WAY bigger numbers from some of my older grows and strains. the difference in growth is night and day. btw with soil grows i would just flush the soil good and reuse around 80-90 percent of my soil. fox farm soils are great in second and even third grows. i just pull out like 20 percent and mix in new soil.

Just a mini update i went in and checked on the hydro grow earlier to find that i had roots poking out of the bottom of my 2 gallon smartpots so the growth is crazy in there. i fully expect a huge rootmass when i finish this run.

Nice update tshirt keep them coming bro, i would like to see a vid about the watering method (dip method) on exactly how you do it. Maybe on your next time to water you could throw up a vid of you doing a few

hey TshirtN, i was wondering if your using the AN Sensi PH Perf line on the hydro ladies? i know you had stated on one of your past vids that ANs PH claims came out bogus in your personal experiments, but are you still running them? if so, aside from the PH issue, any other issues? what's your take on them so far compared to your previous nutes? btw great looking ladies and awesome vids! :clap:

im still using them as i already used my money so might as well use the product. it works fine and honestly i believe its the method and not the nutes making my ladies better but i will take it. i think unless i see HUGE changes with these ones on the cocomat, i will just stick to smartpots with the smaller gordan fluff as my roots went CRAZY in under 3 days it was hitting bottom and filling out. there were some roots coming up even. so far i have nothing bad to say about the sensi lineup since i have nice green plants. i think i will fill the tent with pj's and do a sea of pj bliss. that would be the way i would like my grow to go out in this place. i need to dip my ladies tomorrow anyway so i might do a video on that too.
also i think i decided to run the two hps rooms on the 12/12 schedule as photo flowering rooms plus i will have my led's free to do in a tent in a different area maybe in my room so i can play with my babies from time to time. It will honestly go towards a mother/ clone area with like 6 autos going at any given time growing out different new strains and whatnot. autos wont leave my growspace but will be more of a fun time thing.
