New Grower Topping tips

Its jot super hot but stays a little warmer than the house

I have a Big walk in closet i can use we dont care about smell so much but this 5×12 foot closet has now Ac,vent in it stays a little warm could i use that with a fan not blowing directly on the buds
I don't see why not. If you have a hygrometer, throw it in the closet. Not in the bag. Knowing the RH will give you an idea when to open the bags. You will want to open them frequently at first, I know I did. Really though, no worries doggy. Check in a few days.
One thing I should mention. when they are getting close they will start drying rapidly. The paper back sucks moisture from the buds. I like to jar at 70%. And burp often for a few days. If it's higher than 70%, which it often is, throw em back in the bag. Doing this draws moisture from the stems to the edges where it is dry and makes a more uniform dry.
The cooler temps will be a slower dry. Which is good. Slow and steady wins the race here fo sho

But gonna do the paper bag method first and jar cure
Highly recommended. I have hung dried, dried then bagged, then bagged. The bag from the gate is my preference by a long shot. Not to mention the ease.

Ok i will definitely do the Brown Bag method first give it a try I just went and read the form I like that

Do you take the buds off the stem and then put it on the brown paper bag or do you leave branches in the bag

There are definitely two schools of thoughts on topping or using high stress training methods. I do not do it and I make 1lb auto plants, so there is that lol. But this topic has been beat to death lol and until we can get some real science everyone will just have an opinion. I would recommend trying a low stress method like LST or SCROG, but that is just my opinion lmao
