L3V3R3'S autoflower soiil mix
So I posted this in my JEM thread but I wanted to make it easier for everyone to find here ya go

L3V3R'S soil mix
Everybody's been asking what my soil mix is so here it is.

I start out with my own personal compost from my kitchen and yard scraps as part of my base, but you can easily use some other type of compost as a base, black cow ia a good alternative to the compost part of the base too. or if your into it like i am I also use old leached out recycled composted soil from past grows Waste not.
DO NOT USE ANY THING WITH NUTES ALREADY IN IT AS YOUR BASE!!!
Here we go this is what you will need

Compost
Peat moss (or promix bx works fine)
Mexican bat guano
Indoesian bat guano
Jamacian bat quano(optional)
Peruvian seabird quano
Kelp meal
epsom salts
Earthworm castings
Greensand (optional)
Rock posphate (optional)
Crushed oyster shells
dolomite lime (optional)

Alright after you've aquired all these things
Lets make the base that we will work with which will be 10-gal of compost and 10-gal of peat (right now i'm using promix bx instead of peat and I like it)
that makes 20 gal to that I add 20 pounds of earthworm castings that is my main base.you can add more if you like

All of these things can be found at a local hydro shop or online. Sorry but this what i use :)

and to that I add
1 cup each of the quanos
2 cups kelp meal
1 cup green sand
1 cup rock phosphate
1 cup epsom salts
a whole bag of crushed oyster shells
and like 4 cups of dolomite lime (if your not using the lime double up on the oyster shells) These two even out the ph from using all the quano

I mix it all together getting a good and even mix and put it in a 30-50 gallon garbage can add a couple of gallons of water keep it uncovered but cover it when it rains it needs to cook for atleast a month but a month and a half would be better.
The cooking off is the most improtant part it breaks down the organic material into usable nutrients for the plant roots.

Then you can take that and mix it 50% mix 30%peat and 20%perlite the chunkier the better with the perlite this works awesome for seedlings. You can adjust it to your needs and it can be as diverse as you want it to. It don't have to be the exact ratios as I'm giving. The ratios I am providing from my tests should not burn and gives them a good healthy boost in their first month if not longer. Remember you are feeding the soil not the roots

It's better if you keep recycling your soil when your done with your grow. I flush the soil really well after harvest and use the old soil as my compost part of my base then add promix and amendments. This keeps the micro bacteria population high.
Here's the mix I've been using,I've ran this mix for my last 3 consecutive grows with no deficiencies and zero re-amending I'm currently on my 4th run and am now seeing subtle signs that re-amendment is in order...this is a just add water mix, with the exception of hygrozyme every so often and on the very rare occasion a finely brewed tea.

I kinda winged it and got lucky..

Disclaimer:Here's my mix but use it at your own risk I am not liable for any damages you may incur and may become subject to or any unsatisfactory results you may be pissed off with.
DO NOT START SEEDS IN THIS MIX.

Dirt's Mix

50 gal base

3 cu. ft coco
1 bag mushroom compost
20 gal recycled soil.

total of 50 gal base.

14-15 cups oyster shell
1kg or 7 cups kelp meal
6 cups prilled lime
3 cups alfalfa meal
4 cups blood meal
4 cups bone meal
4 cups rose and flower 5-3-8
3 cups dolomite powder
4.5 cups rock phosphate
3 cups soft rock phosphate
4.5 cups flower power 4-10-4
2 cups DE
6 cups greensand

after cooking for awhile I still had a high ph of 8.0 so I tried to lower it by adding..

7 gallons peat {nature mix brand}
+1 cup alfalfa
2cups high n guano
2 cups vegano 3-3-3 all purpose
which proved to have no effect on the ph.

I alternate each watering between distilled and bubble tap water.

I thought I might have used to much dolomite in the mix but it seems to have worked out fine so far,the microbeasties have kept the balance.
I am using LED lights,is the dolomite and oyster shells going to keep me from having cal mag issues,or should add more,or treat when it happens. Also i have to use DW ,our water is not good .Will the trace minerals in the rock phosphate be enough offset the lack of minerals in the water.Peace.

you can do one of several things.Id personally recommend using cal mag in the water you moisten your soil with with molasses too..thats the first step.second is your recipe..dolimite,a lil gypsum is always good too.cal-phos is always good and magnesium..and simple watering treatments should be more than enough with a simple tea..from autos to photos..adjust your strengths accordingly..but if you dont wanna get that invloved.make some dry cal phos fry( some lightly browned to some blackened) up 50% eggshells and the other 50-% plain..dry and crushed well.add to soil a bit of epsom salts and even some blackstrap powdered molasses too.thats a great one ppl dont often use i think.but those are very easy and effective methods to combat that draw in several angles.variation tends to be key atleast in two to three ways..thats what I like to do..

and bottled water or Ro you'll wanna add cal mag and even a small sprinkle (really light pinch/Dusting) of azomite or similar powder to the water every few waterings..but small dusting..not much..that helps too but that'll depend on how silty your soil is too so use it sparingly is all.but not necessary, the cal mag is often enough.

Thank you eyes ,trying to get my shit together for my supersoil grow .I appreciate your valuable time.Peace.

Hey guys.

Im starting a real simple soil mix, its my first time mixing my own. Ill use BioBizz Light Mix as base and adding worm castings, mycorrizha and lime.

How much of each do you think would be good?
Anything more I should add that makes big difference?

The reason im not using a premium soil as base is i really wanna finish up my nutrients and i already have a bunch of Light Mix laying around. Plenty of time for new mix later. :)

Add 20% wormcastings to a soil mix. If you add much more, the soil gets thick and compacts too tightly. I make what I call my KISS mix, a very simple soil.

1 part organic potting soil
add
30% coco coir ( its a renewable resource unlike peat )
20% worm castings
1/2 cup of lime per 5 gallons of soil if you use Dolomite lime, also add epsom salts for Mg, a 1/4 cup per 5 gallons

If you feel you need a bit stronger mix, get some doctor Earth or Jobe's Organic nutes. They come in a box or bag of dry nutrients and contain many of the same ingredients that super soil uses.

I've grown several grows now in my KISS mix and have had the best grows yet! i'm sure you'll enjoy this mix. I find it to make my grows a water and wait event!

Wow, I never expected such a thorough reply. Thanks alot man. Really.

Heres what it says for the Dolomite Lime I ordered.
"Dolomite powder is a double carbonate rock with composition of CaCO3 and MgCO3 pertaining to 100 % in combination.....

...Probable composition:
CaCO3 50.94%
MgCO3 43.06%"

This isnt regular Dolomite Lime?

Guess I miss spoke and meant with garden lime. Many forms of lime are mostly Calcium. I use standard garden lime because a 50 pounds bag was $4.......
