Hey guys, on my first grow with some saweeet Mephisto beans. Mango Smile and Fantasmo Express. Been pretty smooth sailing with the living supersoil mixed in FF happy frog and Ocean soil. Well I was waiting on a carbon bug screen to get here to cover my intake air duct...which I have now put pantyhose on...‍♂️ (Pic 1)

Well long story short, the dumbass plumber had a brilliant freakin idea to try and clear a clog with some pressure from the kitchen sink and shit backed up into my got danged washing machine drain line...‍♂️‍♂
which is in my fresh air intake room.. It was bad, real bad...now I have fungus gnats in my tent. I’ve seen some videos on YouTube and looked at some shit online, but I’m in 5gal air pots. How could I possibly keep them out of all the freakin little holes?!?!? Any help would be much appreciated. Much much appreciated

Oh, and it’s day eight for the Mango Smile 1 and 2. Day 1 for both the Fantasmo Express.

Thanks again guys for doing what y’all do here. Lots of great info here.

Same way you covered your air duct.. Pantyhose.. Just larger sized. You will also need to find a way to keep them off of the top soil.. Like diatomaceous earth or something similar..

Thanks for the idea! I’m gonna get on that now. Thank you again!

Pantyhose are pretty stretchy! I've seen it done many times.. 5 gal may be bigger than what I've seen, but it should be doable

Yup panty hose, I cover the bottoms also.

them XXXL pantyhose remind me of the blues tune " throw that big leg over me mama, I might not feel this good agin" :jump:

Good growing to ya! :growing:

I bought the pantyhose to cover the exhaust vent and to hold some compost tea. I can’t believe I didn’t think about using it for the pots. You guys rock! You guys have posted more helpful information on this site more than anywhere else I’ve found. Fun and friendly, just a great community of helpful people. Thanks again
