so I've been growing autos for a few years now and it's been fun gotten some good smoke out of them but I think I'm ready to switch to photo plants. Just a little tired of the inconsistency in yields and such with autos. Now that I have a little bit more growth space I'm getting ready to drop my first set of seats for photo plants. Anyone else tired of autos or is it just me?

I like growing both. Sometimes you just have to switch up the variety. I love vanilla ice cream. Chocolate second. Sometimes I eat a lot of vanilla and get sick of it. Then I go to chocolate. At the end of the day though? I just really like ice cream. Take a break and come back to it man, they improve every single year!

I agree auto breeding has definitely improved. I remember when I first starting growing auto I was literally getting like 6-8inch plants sometimes. They were so cute tho lol. Anyway do you have a particular auto strain that has good size and yield consistently?

I think it is good you decided to switch up. Right now i am in the opposite position since i am new to autos, but i wouldnt stop growing photos.

I like autos because they're so quick and I don't have to worry about light leaks ... I get about the same yield from photos that I do from autos since I generally grow plants to fill the space they are in ... if weed was legal here I guarantee you I would grow autos and photos both out doors but as long as I gotta be stealthy I'll stick w/ autos ... there are plenty of autos that can consistently produce 4-6 oz per plant ... that's enough for me ...

What strain is getting you 6oz per auto? Damn I think the most Ive ever gotten from an auto is close to 3oz tops. Usually average 1.5oz per

There are a bunch of Mephisto strains that can give an experienced grower 4-6 oz average ... Nirvana's Bubblelicious is good for yield and potency ... NorthernLightxBigBud ... Think Different / Think Big are high yielding autos ... Many Jock Horrors / Jack Herers can yield over 4 oz of quality bud ... The trick is to have a good light and to know your space (have enough space too) and be familiar w/ the nutes you're using ...
