Damn I think the most Ive ever gotten from an auto is close to 3oz tops. Usually average 1.5oz per
I personally run both, and was until recently just a photoperiod grower, but certain autos have definitely changed my mind, saying that with auto you have to have things on lock if you want good results, as if they get too dry or something happens "nute lock" your results are gonna be diminished greatly, photos on the other hand you kinda have a bit bigger buffer zone with growing them, as you can always veg them for longer if troubles arise, or make clones and or re veg the plants you like, auto's are well one shot deals, but if you know that and treat them nicely they treat you the same.
They both have there place and it's totally down to the person with what works for them,
@Mañ'O'Green example of his grow conditions are an awesome example of that. Also i'm with
@912GreenSkell that ive noticed the autos yield more per area than photos, but i have yet to run a full or near full run with them, and compare their yield vs their electricity consumption against 12/12 Photo's on a percentage base, but even still yield vs time, auto win hands down no doubt about that, they just consume more electricity per round though, which in my case is a $2 dollar difference over 60days, which may make you scratch your head at why i would be doing efficiency calculations for a $2 dollar difference.
