Day 24 Update

2 days after the plants first LST session and they bounce back with increased growth.

I think you can see from the pics below, the increase in height and spread that they have put on in just 2 days, compare them to my last update.

I have to say that for 24 Days they are looking very good, if they continue like this I anticipate a good harvest weight.

Plant 2 - 24 Nov 2018.jpg

Plants are just under 2ft high, and the LST treatment combined with the tomato cages are opening them up to the light.

They are drinking and feeding well from the reservoir, I had to refill it today with my standard growth mix (detailed before) + a little silicone.

Temps & Rh are becoming a little harder to keep perfect, especially during the plants night cycle.

The Rh% increased to beyond what I wanted, so I introduced a dehumidifier to the tent, this will be dialed in over the next day as I re-balance out the system, with it running.

Overall, I'm Happy the way it's going - so far !

Day 27 Update

Only 27 Days from the seeds popping their heads and they look to be "monsters in the making".:woohoo:

A couple of pics of them in the tent. they have grown to almost 3ft tall now and I am unable to remove them from the tent for a photo call.

Plant 1 full - 27 Nov 2018.jpg

Plant 2 full - 27 Nov 2018.jpg

As you can see (below) both plants are starting to pre-flower, and I think are looking very good for their age.

Lots of Bud sites appearing, I do like these plants

Plant 2 - 27 Nov 2018.jpg

Temps and humidity are being handled OK, and remaining constant after a few tweaks.

It has been a a good test of the equipment's ability as it has been really cold and wet this last few days.

The Pulse logger is doing a grand job, starting to like this bit of kit more and more.
:vibe:

They are taking water/feed at about 2ltrs per day each now, still on "Grow" nutrients at present.

That's about it for today, but keep checking back.

Well I just took a look at your grow, and apart from the few hiccups you mention along the way..... it's looks good to my eye, nice one Bro  :smokeout:

Day 29 Update

If my previous grows of this strain are anything to go by, we are now approaching the halfway mark, they are growing fast.

The weather has been crap here this last few days, cold, windy, rain and exceeding 90%Rh outside, so no chance of getting the girls out for a photo.

The way the weather is, I may not get them out of the tent till chop time.

Maybe I will need to look for a bigger tent for the next grow. :yoinks:

I apologise for the pic quality / colour, but they had to be taken in the tent with lights on.

Plants - 29 Nov 2018.jpg

As you can see, the plants are in full stretch mode, still going for it and developing lots of bud sites.

They are about 3ft 8in tall now & still on my "grow mix of nutrients", If/when I see them slowing down a bit I will switch them to "Bloom mix".

It's all about timing (and how much grow height I have left to the top of my tent), switching to "Bloom mix" will stop the stretch, but I will try and hold off another day or two yet.

They are drinking loads - the 2 plants took almost 4.5 ltrs over the last 24 Hrs

As predicted, the plants grew through the early leaf curl and now look very healthy.

My way of thinking is - A good environment is key to good development, and I am happy with the way I have managed to dial it in for this grow.

:vibe:

The Pulse logger is working fine, and I am beginning to trust it more and more and use the data to fine tune stuff in.

I am aiming for a Day Temp of 26c with a 50%Rh, this gives me a good VPD of around 1.1kpa

Below are the current charts (if anyone is interested).
