Sorry if I missed the Pm, if you snap a pic of the drivers specs and list the number of them I’d be happy to recommend the type and quantity of cobs you’d need. Occasionally these lights use different drivers so pics before buying is the safest.

Let me know what ya think, my goal is to keep the power consumption as low as I can get with this thing. Was thinking of running just a single COB off each driver if that’s possible. Two 3500k on each side, with a far red COB in the middle attached to the Bloom switch? This would be for a 32”x32” space.

Do you have the drivers on back? Or just the heatsink to plastic?

I see now, you may want to make sure the cobs dont melt the plastic and drip a light. You can buy aluminum angle and make a frame that will last forever.

the grating is metal

(not going to melt) with rigid aluminum stiffing it up. I sprayed painted it black. The driver will be mounted outside of tent similar to the my other tent

Does anyone care to shed a lil light on whether or not a pair of these drivers will run decent cob(s)???
Hoping to re-purpose my first blurple into something useful...well, at least more useful lol !!!

I dont believe so. It's 100v minimum and cobs are 36v. You would need 3 cobs in series to work I do believe. But dont just take my word for it. Someone else may know something I don't.

Where did you get the grating? It would be perfect for a qb setup...
