I've got 3 1212s on a sorta small heat sink and they don't even get warm as long as you got a good cooling fan you will be fine

They aren't going directly onto the heatsink, they will be on an aluminium sheet then heatsinks on top of that lol fingers crossed it will be alright but the middle cob is bothering me not having a heatsink over it

You can run around 20 watts on 1/8th aluminum without a heatsink as long as room temps don’t get to high. This is without a fan so yes you should be fine. Put it this way your cobs will our last the drivers by atleast 10 years lol. I haven’t seen a citizen cob burn out and I have abused them.

If the drivers are 650-700ma you would multiply .65 by the cobs voltage.

650ma is .65amps

Citizen 1212 = 36 volts

.65x36 = 23.4

Our resident corny mitch above directed me here and passed me to a kit set up for cob from aussie land you may know said kit but im thinking replacing dual spec 600w hps is this kit as good as corny makes me believe hahaha dunno if allowed to post the link to the kit i dunno but let us know fam as im deffo gunna look into this cob shyte
