Yes absolutely. If you scroll back to the beginning pages of the diy section you can see where Jupiter and I did a hack with a xl1000. He later did it again with another and then 2 more 600’s that weren’t posted here. He had reused the whole light and just added cobs in which is a little different than your plan just to use the drivers. Either way it’s a solid upgrade.
Looking for so help. I have been running my autocob for about a week now and have been blown away. So much that I am looking into converting my led to one or 2 autocobs.

Yes mine is from China also and I plug the cobs in they flicker and my fan don't come on

I wonder why I def can’t help but def intrigue to the answers and I’m sure we will find out what’s up with the flickering.
The thing stays lit but it has a flicker and the fan don't come on I used same wires that the other lights was hooked up too
