I have been putting threadmarks in, just for you bro haha...So very glad you are hereHey bro.
Got here in the end!
The Libs are starting to come up, so I have been up the hills a fair bit and when I get home I just want to get warm and sit on my Arse..
CN now that is a nice strain and no mistake.:smoking: Happy days will be coming to you!
I hope to try stone99 V4 x Citrus Noir in the spring.
I have 10 seeds, dropped & cracked and 3 that have broken surface.
Journal to come.
I think I should mainline one, don't you?
It is about time I stopped being a mainline virgin!
I will have a good look at your journals for expert advice and technique.
I'm watching ,observing, taking notes and following carefully!Hello AFN..........First ties in for these CN....not really alot to write....My hooks are just normal 3mm rubber garden wire...about 4" long.....I gently bend the stems first, over into the position where I want them to be....Then put the hooks in at an angle, pointing away from the main stem, this is to try and stop the stems slipping out of the hooks, I don't like using hooks much, because sometimes when I am pushing them in the medium, I feel like they are snapping roots....AND they can slip to the middle, which means they are doing nothing.....This can cause a problem in the way that if a hook slips....say, an hour after you put them on and you don't check it until the next day....The un-hooked stems will continue upwards and can become MUCH stronger in that time, making them short but stiff, which is a problem when bending them like we do....and attempts to bend back into position can snap/split the main stem....if this has happened 2moz, I will take some pics to illustrate!View attachment 1243510

Edit:....I know the medium looks quite dry atm, but I will not be feeding them until tomorrow, I gauge the need to feed by the weight of the pot, which is the best way imo....
Thank you my good friend, the hooks are a pain but a must, I swap them for safety pin and wire as soon as I canI'm watching ,observing, taking notes and following carefully!
I love your manifold/mainlining skills, a true master at work!
Fantastic hook advice, if you have to use them, might as well have the best info available!
