Completed The 2022 Outdoor Auto-Photo Competition!

:toke: Hey gang, sorry for the delays, beat me with a fish if you like! View attachment 1543908
...been a bit swervey the last week or so....
Looking at the final roll call, I'm surprised that there are fewer finishers than usual ...actually, fewer entries as well truth be told...:rolleyes2:
Our good man @arty zan is MIA, making be even more concerned - :eek1: hmmmmm....

I'll have the Polls up this week I hope, just these last couple details,... Thanks for being patient! :baked:

** Last call for @Mudballs ** --- mate, if you want in the polls, drop you choice pics off here please! You hung tight in the grow and Comp', so one last step and you're done -

:smoking: Thanks Mini', is it Blue Moby auto you want or 'Banana? The former I'm figuring but please confirm...

She looks and sounds delish' man! Just to be sure, you want the whole plant pic for the live shot or is there a live bud pic you prefer?

Sorry for the lag brother...
GTG, I think everybody will be fine with you going with this SCHz! She was documented the whole way, so see if you can find live and dry pics to submit... Or one of the others, Skunk Hero perhaps? She was a beauty, all I need is a dry bud shot (just snag a fat bud and skin her up) and you pick a live bud shot already here...
We want you in the Polls man, won't be the same without you- :vibe:C'mon dewd!

>>> oh snap! Gotta put my pics in too... Remember folks, I'm just joining the Polls for fun, I waive all prizes if any! :jointman: <<<

....Think it'll be TrainWreck (T20M)

I copied this over from https://agseedco.com/blogs/news/cannabis-confusion-the-history-of-afghan-skunk

SKUNK #1 TIMELINE
1970’s
~ Pre Skunk #1, much of the stinky acrid smelling cannabis being grown and smoked in North America was referred to by people familiar with the smell as “Skunk”. It was a general term simply used to describe the acrid but rich and oddly pleasant smell of mostly Afghan cannabis. We now know this smell is characteristic of thiol and myrcene-rich varieties. Conversely in the UK, the same smell characteristic is often referred to as “Cheese”, because those Brits certainly know the smell of nasty freaking cheese.
1975 ~ Afghan/Colombian Gold was bred with Acapulco Gold by Skunkman Sam and became Skunk #1
1976 ~ The first seeds of Skunk #1 were sold in Santa Cruz California. Further selections of the Skunk #1 Variety are created with some leaning toward the sweeter more tropical side of the cross, and some more acrid leaning towards the Afghan side of the cross, the more acrid were referred to as Skunk #2.
1976 to 1985 ~ Skunk #1 seeds are sold in California by "Sacred Seeds”.
1985 ~ Skunk #1 seeds are sold to The Holland Seed Bank, S.S.S.C. and many others, catapulting the Amsterdam cannabis seed business scene into high gear.

1986
~ Skunkman Sam moves to Amsterdam with Skunk #1, Hindu Kush, Original Haze, California Orange, and many others along with Durban Poison and Afghan #1 from Mel Frank.

1986 to 1992 Skunkman Sam continues to refine the variety through selective breeding for higher THC levels and overall plant quality, selecting the sweeter side over time.
1988 ~ Skunkman Sam gives Mel Frank some Skunk #1 seeds, Mel Frank would go on to store these seeds in his refrigerator until 1996 when he replicated them in his backyard in Los Angeles. (Those seeds went back into his refrigerator for 23 years until 2019 when he gave them to Todd McCormick who started growing them out and realized that they were still quite acrid and not so sweet. The most acrid plants were selected and crossed together to make the seeds available at this website.)
1992 to 1997 ~ Robert C. Clarke joins Skunkman Sam in a scientifically rigorous, well-documented breeding program that would search among tens of thousands of plants for cultivars within the Skunk #1 line for specific characteristics that would serve as a foundation for the new field of Cannabis medicines.
1998 ~ The most exceptional plants discovered in the breeding regime would go on to become the foundation of GW Pharmaceuticals and later become the basis of Sativex, the first internationally-recognized cannabis pharmaceutical.

I guess I'm going to skip out on the pictures I'm sorry guys and gals... Its been all fun though I've had a lot of good times with y'all that's for sure. And I just love growing anyways. I'll try and get some pictures around but. But I think that my live pictures are probably due more Justice than the final harvest bud pictures. At any rate..
The skunk hero is definitely one of the most beautiful plants I've ever grown in my entire.
quote unquote cultivar I can't even say it. LOL cracks me up in my growing experience anyways.
I have a lot of fun growing. I'm not getting high right now so being a gardener is a lot of fun even though I'm not getting high. I'm not doing anything inside right now per se. I have so much of my outdoor harvest that literally I can barely give it away to tell you the truth. There's so much saturation in Michigan that the market is just crap for lack of a better word. Christmas was good to everybody I know though. They're... they're chieffing like nobody ever Chief before. Like Cheech and Chong days for sure... :smokeout::rofl:

Ive perfected my cooking skills though. Popcorn balls, marshmallow rice krispie treats, chocolates, chocolate turtles, peanut clusters, caramels, and gummies with more flavor than you've ever seen. I perfected the gummies... Even infused barbecue sauce ketchup mustard you name it I've done about everything infused this year. And nothing for me. Ugh...
I cooked for almost a week straight nothing but medical yum yums... I just passed out my last Christmas bag. Making almost 30 Christmas bags this year... everybody's got to be happy... if they're not... Well they can piss off then....

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all my AFN brothers and sisters... May you all be blessed with happiness and good fortune... :vibes: :bump::goodluck::baked::cheers:
