In Dog Beers I've Only Had One
Ok, a few things to help new growers... :smoking:
Every new grower runs into problems, every new grower freaks out and usually over reacts and causes more problems or makes their original problem worse.
Remember, these are just weeds, they grow fine on their own outdoors.
Most problems you encounter right about now have to do with feeding and watering. At this stage you should only be watering.
My personal preference for watering at this point is light misting and higher than normal humidity. Remember, you just saturated your medium a few days ago so don't drown them.
Your choice of medium will determine when feeding starts.
Another problem that can pop up in the early stage is excessive stretch. If your chosen light source is too far away or not strong enough your plant will stretch towards the light and the stem gets weak and it can just flop over and die.
You have to keep the light either close enough or bright enough to avoid this. But if you get your light too close you will have heat issues.
It's a balance, and it's not hard to figure out.
Photos are much easier to learn on than Autos because you have more time to recover from problems. That's because Auto's basicly have an internal clock for their lifespan while a Photos lifespan can be controlled by their exposure time to light.
The basic tools that you should own by now are a soil moisture / ph meter, and a digital thermometer that also shows humidity.
At this stage you want your grow area just a bit warmer than latter stages. And also a bit more humid than latter stages.
Now sit back and relax
