Temps and humidity

Hey so sorry may be newb questions I read all over internet what room temp should be and humidity and even my lux amount. But not specifics, do I measure temps of room or directly under light or both and humidity and heat seem to change under direct light as to off hung on wall as I keep seeing. Thanks for any info on this

Well sounds like you got things going in somewhat of good direction ..
I'll tell you I've had my time with the p.m. spider mites and aphids this last year.
I'm an organic Farmer for the most part but I am not 100% I'm about 92% so let me help you a little bit organic way of getting rid of powdery mildew.

Take 1 quart of 3% hydrogen peroxide to 1 gallon of water and spray this on your plant daily if you care to it will not hurt your plant. your plant will actually love it you can use it all the way through to harvest it will keep your powdery mildew at Bay.
It seems not to be able to kill the old spores because they may be in something like your fan motor or someplace else hidden.
They seem to pop out of know where.
To tell you the truth I don't even use a fan in my grow not now for almost 8 months not one lick of air movement is in there believe it or not it's true.
I've always been a person that thought that you had to have circulation I'm here to tell you they don't have to have circulation at all not one lick there's not even a minimal Breeze in my grow room.
I keep my powdery mildew at Bay that way very easily I've only had to spray now twice since I remodeled my room and cleaned it just after Christmas last year.

There's a lot of ways to control your powdery mildew problem.
I wouldn't raise my humidity if I could stand it. I keep it about 45 I don't like getting much over 45 then you start running into mold problems.
Also adding a reptile light to your grow room will help and destroy powdery mildew almost any other kind of mold.
This is one of your best bets using any kind of UVA UVB extra lighting will destroy p.m.
I run under CMH lights now
I have very little problem with p.m. along with not using any fans my problem is almost ended my humidity runs around 23% most of the time and only goes up when I water and then it only goes up to about 50% .
If I spray then we'll go up to around 78% but doesn't last very long and goes right away especially this time of year very dry in winter time in my area.
I'm lucky to stay around 23%.
You look at any one of my grow Journal and you can see how I've combat things over the years. Ive got a lot of little remedies for this that and the other thing..
But if all else fails I will use sm90 and I have a couple of other ones that I use they are more organic they work really well with p.m. and you can use them right up also to harvest.
good luck[emoji481][emoji482]

Wow thanks man feel better already I'm bit of perfectionist and instead of taking it slow I really tried to go pro overnight and I'm super addicted to it I can't stay out I've learned to not try to much at once and I did use the peroxide last time but after I felt I lost battle I gave up let everything finish poorly then cleaned like mad man but like you said fan motors and not mention I probably smoked the weed from last batch up until 2 weeks ago so p.m had fairly good chance to get in and it is way less then last time anyway that is this safers product fungicide for powdery mildew and black spot and so on and says safe till day before harvest says sulfur is active ingredient is better then hydrogen peroxide? I'll but anything and will spray anything safe I am also going organic using gaia green organics dry amendment and the plants I premixed are very nice so no more bottled nutes for me and I would love to do away with fans but feel helps with temps I might just try better bulbs get more light less heat if that make sense I read it somewhere anyways thanks so much for your help and your humidity sounds exactly like mine so I'm going to try and shadow ur grows. I extremely need to produce high quality flavorful herb I cannot smoke outdoor and cannot not afford to let this grow go to crap so I'm going to get the peroxide but should I wait until plants are back to normal before I spray or does it have no bad effect to stressed plants thanks again

Hydrogen peroxide has a gazillion uses Google it it'll help you with many different types of plant ailments and pest also.

Yes you can use it right now.

Yeah I just wanted to Cheak I actually washed my weed with it lol before I smoked it well at least the stuff with p.m on its some plants just seemed to fight it off and now get it master kush by Dutch passion the plant was surrounded by it and didn't get till the very end should I just never sprayed plants I had read baking soda and sprayed plant almost killed it well I'm going to get and spray right now should I wait till humidity is down and should turn fans down and open door to bring down the few degrees it won't go over 30 C but can't garuntee it won't be at that during day without fans

im about the laziest grower you could find.my plants hate the sight of me,if i spend anymore than the minimum time needed in the cupboard i fuck up or something goes wrong.
we all have to find the happy medium that suits our grow styles,a couple of grows to get things more or less dialed in.then the skies the limit :growing:
i found when how what with watering confusing.poke the finger method was like hmm am i doing it right i hope its in the front kinda thing.
so i filled up a spare pot with soil and set it in the corner.everytime i walked past i lifted it up.when i watered my plants i lifted the pot,a watered pot is a good bit heavier.
but i couldnt get my head round it till i went and got a spare pot.
relax on the ph,the droop is i think maybe under watering/but then again it could be overwatering :paleo:
keep posting good luck.

Lol yeah over mothering /less is more kind of thing I really am trying to go that route OK yeah that's what I do is lift the pot and I don't think it be overwatering but under is possible I've also just did tonnes of reading online and may have just took alot of wrong opinions or just developed my own idea of what plants do all in like 6 months lol but just talking to real ppl about it on here is super comfortable feeling should I be letting them dry right out then water till runoff? Or like half wet then add till runoff and I read to leave runoff for my organics plants for microbes or whatever
