Temps and humidity

Hey so sorry may be newb questions I read all over internet what room temp should be and humidity and even my lux amount. But not specifics, do I measure temps of room or directly under light or both and humidity and heat seem to change under direct light as to off hung on wall as I keep seeing. Thanks for any info on this

High humidity is ok if u actually have the setup to do,it. I turn off my exhaust and put two humidifiers in there but I have a giant air mover which keeps the buds dry. Its a gamble, and I only do it for a week on the 7th week of flowering to,pack on oil

Yeah been thinking of getting everything on automatic thermostats but can be pricey

Yea I can't afford that shit myself. I do just fine. A hot air hum and if it gets to low cause of winter I just throw a wet beach towel in there on the fan . here's my air mover

Sounds weird as hell. U got pics,of what's going on? But 22 percent the plant is like being in a desert. Its gonna die or be lanky and produce nothing,.

a first grow is about getting some buds/avoiding disaster.a first grow is not perfecting things or the ideal.if you can great, but dont spend a lot of time on lil things you may not be able to do a great deal about.
vpd chart is great for getting dialed in.
for me temps and humidity is about keeping it within range.i only care if my temps are under 17c or over 30c.there isnt a lot more i can do about temps.humidity if its between 40%-60% im happy.a hemudifier or demudifier is out of the question for me.an Inkbird 308t is £30 and a handy bit of kit.
good luck n keep er lit.
:pighug:

after water and in the dark plants will droop a bit anyway.or a dry period or excessive watering.can we get more pics :photog:
powdery mildew isnt a killer just a pain in the arse @Growtogrow is a whizz when it comes to that :pass:there are safe and natural options like milk and alcohol washes and such, but im not so well up on them.
keep er lit.

Well sounds like you got things going in somewhat of good direction ..
I'll tell you I've had my time with the p.m. spider mites and aphids this last year.
I'm an organic Farmer for the most part but I am not 100% I'm about 92% so let me help you a little bit organic way of getting rid of powdery mildew.

Take 1 quart of 3% hydrogen peroxide to 1 gallon of water and spray this on your plant daily if you care to it will not hurt your plant. your plant will actually love it you can use it all the way through to harvest it will keep your powdery mildew at Bay.
It seems not to be able to kill the old spores because they may be in something like your fan motor or someplace else hidden.
They seem to pop out of know where.
To tell you the truth I don't even use a fan in my grow not now for almost 8 months not one lick of air movement is in there believe it or not it's true.
I've always been a person that thought that you had to have circulation I'm here to tell you they don't have to have circulation at all not one lick there's not even a minimal Breeze in my grow room.
I keep my powdery mildew at Bay that way very easily I've only had to spray now twice since I remodeled my room and cleaned it just after Christmas last year.

There's a lot of ways to control your powdery mildew problem.
I wouldn't raise my humidity if I could stand it. I keep it about 45 I don't like getting much over 45 then you start running into mold problems.
Also adding a reptile light to your grow room will help and destroy powdery mildew almost any other kind of mold.
This is one of your best bets using any kind of UVA UVB extra lighting will destroy p.m.
I run under CMH lights now
I have very little problem with p.m. along with not using any fans my problem is almost ended my humidity runs around 23% most of the time and only goes up when I water and then it only goes up to about 50% .
If I spray then we'll go up to around 78% but doesn't last very long and goes right away especially this time of year very dry in winter time in my area.
I'm lucky to stay around 23%.
You look at any one of my grow Journal and you can see how I've combat things over the years. Ive got a lot of little remedies for this that and the other thing..
But if all else fails I will use sm90 and I have a couple of other ones that I use they are more organic they work really well with p.m. and you can use them right up also to harvest.
good luck[emoji481][emoji482]

OK so using promix HP mycorrhizae alot of conflicting info online about it and it's ph what I found by running water through is it brang my tap at ph of 8 to 6.3 to 6.5 runoff out of bag first time I used Ph 6.3 going in in a week it was under 5 and plants suffered so now I run higher ph till it stops going down so much and was going great then one day it drooped and some Showed a nute lock type thing. when I checked runoff it was high 7.3 so I started ph my water slowly to bring it back down so ph of 7 then 6.5 and plants were going great the nute lock went away after few waterings but after week of being between 6 and 6.5 keep in mind my water ph climbs alot I find first cpl hrs the most so I ph it down low let sit and come back and it always has risen at few points then I adjust again "this is all after I leave out for 24hrs to declorinate" should I try ph while it sits for 24 hrs? Cuz it does tend to swing overnight but sometimes it's hard to keep up with plants as I only have so made Rubbermaids anyway I used small air Stone and aquarium heater to bring temp of water up a bit. anyway about 40 days in they looked great when on dry side and drooped when wet so I joined this site but by time posted the pics looked good cuz of the dry side so I kept on at 6 to 6.3 ph and top dressed dry organic nutes I started to get to much leave growth so started to remove some lower growth and notice very tiny patch of powdery mildew on few leaves on each plant so I did what you see in pics over few days I didn't see any shock on autos but the plant that is most droopy in pic that have no preflower showed some serious stress but perked up a bit next day they were all dry so I water that plant fully.and the rest could only give maybe litre and half because I didn't have any more water rdy then today, they got worse a few are young don't seem affected and the amnesia strain has not drooped ever but the 3 biggest plants looked really bad and we're dry so have watered one is looking a little better and found more leaves with powdery mildew not alot but one on each plant and I don't wanna remove to much cuz they clearly pissed and stressed I'm using 24 HR light due to heavy temp swings even outside it went from -20 C to +8C then back this year is crazy anyway I took pics of all grow stuff have bought and the 2 grows spots I have. Lights 2 x600w MH and 2 led epilids double chip say between 350 and 500w actual pull I have hps bulbs for them as well I just didn't switch cuz of the photos I'm veggin and hoped led would supply other spectrum if I switched them around 200 cfm and fans. P. S I cannot close any grow room door with lights on temp climb over 30 quick I can't open window but too risky of a cooling method. also the light bulbs are not very good I'm assuming cuz they are only getting 40 000 lux at height there at any closer they don't like the heat. The powdery mildew is what bugs me most I just feel defeated lol sry about length of this msg the one temp meter is on wall at light height thanks again guys
