so.. this is whats up.. i have my sprout (working on secod node) in a empy dwc setup type thing... during my morning examination of her, i noticed the tap root was curled up under my "jiffy puck sock" filled with perilite... i assisted it to growing out of the main hole directly below it... while doing this, i managed to break off about and inch and a half off a 5ish inch root... just wondering if this will kill my lady, or will she recover? i am thinking this will stunt her growth but im really not sure... you guys have any opinions on this?

yeah.. probably a little... but should be ok...

Yeah she'll be fine. I planted two ladies from bag seed about 2 months ago and i accidentally dropped the solo cup and her roots just broke in half. I thought she was a goner but i replanted and she recovered in about a week. But i threw them both out becuz i put a flower tab instead of a soiltab in for nutes. One just curled up and got crispy and the other started to smell a little. So you should be fineb:toke:

i would use beneficial organisms like Mycorrizhae to help aid the roots in their road to recovery, should greatly reduce ur shock from the stress and will help keep ur yield from diminshing! I use Plant Success's Great White it works for soil/hydro/soiless mediums, it comes in powder form. They also have it in a gel form it is called Orca. U might wanna check it out. I dont grow without it...
