Hello there sweet seeds!

Well this is the beginning of my journal. i will be doing a long journal on the Red Poison AF fem. This journal will have at least six complete grows.

So a little back ground, I've done several grows on photo. grows with Barney's Farms LSD and fell in love. Great Harvest Strong, dense, and gorgeous. This grow was in pro mix with GH maxi nute's line. 600wt mh grow, and 600wt hps with t5 in bloom for full spectrum. temp was 89-68 fer.

I have been doing lots of research and fell in love with AF. I have been scared to try AF for the yield, and the fact that they are so delicate. So i figured that enough is enough, let do a extensive study on said beauty's. To let the general public and myself see what all the AF hype is about .

i am a medical patient and use my medicine for pain and anxiety. Since i have been on this treatment i have stopped taking all my pain medicine to include but not all, oxy, vicodin, flexeril, atonol , and buspar.... just to give you all a idea on how beneficial my medical mj treatment has helped me. My conditions include prostetic hip, spinal fusion, ankle reconstruction, agrophobia...

Well my first order of business is to figure out my grow medium.
I have purchased Fox Farms Ocean Forest and also have purchased there nute line.
' i have read that the AF do not like straight OF and that most people mix with happy frog and perlite.
i have been thinking of mixing it OF 70 percent 30 Percent pro mix with some additional perlite.

Of course i could use suggestions if anyone has any...:helpme:

Ive not used fox farms since my first grow but I do be live 70 30 might still be a little hot. I think most guys go 50-50. You can also tier plant from the pro/mix into the ffof.

losman i be long to which your grows :smokebuds:im using coco,but do lov the GH feeds with it :thumbs:,im using coco max right know girls seem to lov it:thumbs:, but im sure some one give you some tips on the fox farms soil ,

To be honest i would rather use promix, but i read that its not a good idea due to nutes burning plants and stunting them. Im days away from sew and yet not figured out witch way i should go. A little more research and the best two mediums will go head to head.

heres a little about my setup
Bloom: 3 ft by 4 ft wide 5 ft tall with full circulation and a 6 inch carbon filter
digital adjustable ballast 250, 400, 600 watt HPS, also 3 ft t5 light for full spectrum.
Temps 67 low on cold nights and 89 on high Temp useall 85 to 89 f.

Veg : 3 ft by 3 ft wide by 5 foot tall small air fan temp is 79 always
dual t5 light suspended from yoyo hung about 2 inches above from ladys

Now I know i dont need two rooms for this im also doing a side project with Mr. Nice Guys , Early Queen!
For you guys that dont know they are said to be SCROG friendly and bloom in 55 days. I figured why not put the up against each other and see what happens.

For the record I am Not a Sweet Seeds grower or associated with them. Im just a curious fellow who is always on the hunt for quality medicine. Logically if i can harvest every eight weeks then a perpetual harvest every month seems the best route minimizing on nute compsumption and power usage. Not to mention the eye candy that sweet seeds brings to the table, along with there claim to get 400g per meter square, and there reputation my mind go crazy. lol. So please stay tuned working on my mediums and in the next few days i will start the sew process.

Well here i am again i have decieded to go with the ffof mixed with promix 50/50 then add 20 percent perlite in one five gallon pot in the other i will have my 50/50 mix with perlite and the top 3 inches will be promix wix perlite. i figure i will work with what i got and know judge my results.

Tomorrow i will soak beans in water for 24 hrs and and the following day i will place straight into their five gallon pots. I will place pots in my grow under 24 hr of dual t5 lights suspended two inches above pots.:

Thanks :smokebuds:,im using coco puls + light mix soil mix @50/50 to start girls of with,and just water plus some root additive,for the fist 2 weeks,then move them in to full coco plus,Feeds im using are the moment are ATA Coco max+Atazyme + Bloombastic,im going to Chang form Bloombastic to Blossom Builder,on me other girls see wat i get,as the blossom builder got a NPK @ 0-20-32,if you need an more info :smokebuds:just ask
