Indoor Susitna's Autoflower Menagerie

Happy Saturday! Weekly update time!

All the girls are doing well since their attitude adjustment last week. Still some damaged leaves from pH but there's no getting those back lol.

Ghost Toof and Double Grape have been blowing up so I up-potted them so they have a bit more space.

Looks like the pollen took on most of the branches, I may hit a couple again when I pollinate the younger girls.

Here's the last shot of Mr. Beanz before he got the chop. Collecting the last bit of pollen to add to the rest.

I'm going to freeze what I don't use and save it for this summer. Just in case I want to pollinate any of the outdoor girls.

That's all for today, have a great weekend!

Happy Weekend all!

Been a long week but the girls are still chugging along:

Ghost Toof is the star of the show at the moment, getting big and getting frosty

The up-potting really helped....but not so much for the double grape. The pot wasn't draining right and the bottom filled with water and started fermenting the barley in the soil. While I enjoy beer, plants do not lol. Ended up frying some of the leaves before I caught it. She's in the left rear corner

A couple of the Holy Man are being real sativa and growing lots of leaves and wispy buds lol, but hopefully they fill out :smokeit:

Northern Cheese Haze is starting some colors, and tricomes are mostly cloudy with some amber on the leaves. Probably be done at 60 days which was unexpected but she looks great :eyebrows:

Tent is smelling pretty strong, lemon, spice, pine, and something slightly funky like my dog snuck in and pooped a bit and I can't find it :gassy1:

That's all for now, happy growing!

Weekly update time!

Little late this week since I was out of town. Left the wife in charge of watering for a week and the soil went hydrophobic again...needless to say, the plants went through a pretty good drought lol

On the plus side, with all the issues I've put these plants through, I've had a chance to see all their strengths and weaknesses. The Holy Man is the most unaffected by drought, which isn't really a surprise. The Seedsman Blueberry and lemon actually fared quite well also. The bigger pots on the double grape and Ghost Toof helped them make it through, but the NCH took a hit and the Stomper cross is really crusty lol.

Here's the state of my tent after a quick watering when I got home:

The Double Grape is getting frosty despite the abuse:

I got some yucca extract so I can get the water to soak in.

Well I'm off to trim dead leaves lol, until next time!

I had to go out of town this week too and took my wife with me (not for that reason). I left the wells full but most of the plants dried out anyway. Luckily it was only for 4 days and I mostly had just wilt to contend with. But the flowering room is still dark and I haven't seen it yet....

Tell ya what fellas the first time I had to leave my gf in charge of the tent I sure was nervous for the girls, but she did an outstanding job. Nine days right after flip, important time. Fed, watered, lower dead growth removed, she even raised the light as they stretched. I offered her a full time position but she politely declined :dancer:

Happy Sunday!

Just checking in for the week

Not much change since last week, just waiting for tricomes lol

Got some of the girls out in the sunshine today and took a few pics

Partial Harvest
Happy Friday!

Weekly update time came a bit early. Tricomes were just right on 5 of the 11 girls so they got some chopping today.

I didn't want to put the whole plants in the dark for a couple days since I'm still developing seeds, so I chopped most and made flower arrangements to put in the dark lol.

Left the seeded branches along with some larf on each plant to let it finish maturing.

First up is Northern Cheese Haze by Mephisto@76 days:

They will go into paper bags after sitting in the dark for a couple days in the grow cab.

Not too bad for full organic in 3L pots lol.

Now just waiting on the other 3 Holy Man girls, Seedsman lemon, Double Grape and Ghost Toof.

Tent pic with the now stubby seeded branch plants...

Until next time! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Why put them into the dark in vases with water? If you hang them to dry in a dark place, wouldn't you achieve the same goal? Or is this to extend the drying process?

Just trying something out, I wanted to put the plants in the dark a couple days before cutting to let them burn up sugars. Supposed to be less harsh smoking that way.

Since I didn't want to stunt the seed growth, I just harvested what was ready and put it in water like live flowers. Figured they would stay alive a couple days and being separated from the roots they should burn up whatever carbs they got. Don't want them to die just yet.

I'll stick them in paper bags after a day or 2, right now they're in the dark grow cab at 65F and 60%

I know I'm a meddler lol, just can't help myself :crying:
