If he's feeding 38-76 times, that would be just about right for a 45-83 day strain assuming a week flush, which is right about once a day for the flowering time of most photosensitive cannabis.
I think those numbers are based on very heavy feeding photos.
I started trying this with my girl scout cookie, i got up to feeding at around 3.2 EC (as the cookie crew said she was a heavy feeder) and i was tempted to go back to 2.1, but she was loving the feed so much i didn't wanna take the risk.
The building up part the plant really enjoyed.
Think it's gonna take a brave person with more than one plant in their cab to try this (for comparisson) - Maybe one day.
It's probably also best done on a photo period as by the time you build up your feeds from 2.1 to 3.0 (presuming that the plant won't burn at 3.0 and you're watering every other day) you will have given 9 feeds over 18 days, which probably means you'll get 2 cycles in for flowering on an auto.
It must be worth a go for someone
Edit: Justin - i just re-read the thread and saw you'd already worked out the maths It's amazing the stuff i forget over a couple of months! lol
lol...You should just know the things a forget in a couple of hours...
I wonder how this will work for guys that like to feed multiple times per day in flower...
Say you feed your plant 5 times per day and raise your ec by 0.1 every feed... then you go from 2.0 to 2.5 in ONE(!) day 2.5-3.0 in just two days....hmmmm Alot of work with alot of mixing nutes but maybey it will work like hell...
Blue,
Interesting. As a new grower, however, I'm pretty much flushing with every feeding...getting a runoff of over 50%. I think I'm gonna keep it simple for awhile!
