Hey Guys.

I've been given some homework by our wonderful super-grower Mr Ganjamoto.
He's been kind enough to provide me with some reading material which i thought i would share here with you,

The Article is from "The Grind Magazine", and unfortuantely i can't copy and paste here because it's locked down.

It was written with a view to growing Photoperiods, but you'll get the basics of it and adjust to your needs.

So the "Reason" we might want to do this is to remove the worry of salt build up (without flushing) and grow monsters at the same time.

A full description of salt build up and why this method works can be found by reading the whole article HERE

SUPER CHARGE COCO METHOD (photoperiods)

At the onset of 12/12 hours for flowering.

Feed at 1.2 EC

Next Feed at 1.3 EC
Next Feed at 1.4 EC
etc etc
All the way to 3.0 EC

THEN START AGAIN

Feed at 1.2 EC

Next Feed at 1.3 EC
Next Feed at 1.4 EC
etc etc
All the way to 3.0 EC

This (apparently) Will SUPER CHARGE YOUR COCO and allow you to grow an monster.

I'm starting flowering in a week or so -I'll let you know how it goes!

Thanks Mr Jorilla

That sounds amazing, truley amazing.

I wonder if this method will work in my perlite/coco hempys or just in pots with straight coco?

I have 4 photos in their secong week of veg...maybey i dare to try this on one of them... i dunno..

edit: this Ripen product that they say one sould use @ week 8 how does that work? My grow shop has that and on their website it says to use it the last two weeks of the plants life.... should i use it instead of plain water the last two weeks? But why does the article say use it at week8?

Any one here that uses Ripen?

I have sent en mail to The grind magazine and Jason Pirie to ask about if this method works with perlite/coco hempys as well.

Will post answer here when and if i get an answer.

3.0 EC...um...that's a lot of that. Is that increasing "pyramid" based on daily drain to waste feedings?

One cycle from 1.2 to 3.0 is 19 watering/feeding times.

The articel says: "A competent grower should be able to repeat the super charged continuously 2-4 times"

That means 38 to 76 watering/feeding times, so i dont think hes meaning feed every day.

Or am i thinking wrong here? lol,

Just my 2 cents

J
