Indoor SunSystems LEC 315 CMH - Soil - Advanced Nutrients - Dinafem White Widow - G13Labs Pineapple Express

I've got the 4200K. Supposed to make leafier plants though. The spectrum is a hair higher in output though, across the board. Good eye on the thermometer. I've got a remote thermo setup at light height on the wall, it's been a steady 75. Down at the pot though, 79-81. I like your idea of measuring leaf temps but next hit on the budget is the back half of the nute schedule, the Bud Factor X is a pocket cleaner. The a/c is small and not working too hard, but needed and necessary in my setup. I've got 2 burned plants to prove it (outdoor temp spike), with one of those in the trash and the other making an impressive comeback. Thanks for looking in, at this point you're leading the charge. I'll be checking for updates on your side often.
As low as 15 inches with a lot of fan in the pic.

I'm glad you mentioned the bleaching. what I saw was similar to the bleaching under the older generation LEDs. And everyone screaming Cal/mag Cal/mag in the older journals. I imagine some minimum height is needed to blend the spectrum for any artificial light, even HID, if there is a lesson to be learned from it.

Lol that's what I thought at first. I upped their CaMg+ out of habit, but when the spots broadened and went white, I found it was the light.

I'm excited to see how your roots go on this run. That's just an incredible amount of volume for them to romp around in, plus you've got the AN microbe trinity going on from that bundle deal.

Also gotta say that the 4200K already seems better for pictures. The tweaked agro spectrum looks exactly like direct sun coming in from a window, but confuses my camera like no other. If I let it auto adjust the white balance, the light and my plants end up looking way too golden in pics.

My biggest fear with the big pots is root rot and not cycling water fast enough to keep up with Tang's schedule. Too much time to move from the center to the edge. Less fear with the promix though compared to the happy frog and ocean forest. A much lighter mix, lotsa perlite. I wanted my scrog on wheels for working underneath the screen when needed and I've got a small PC fan blowing in the gap between the floor and the rolling screen the pots sit on to push the drying. So far I'm seeing it work.
When I look through magazines (Maximum Yield), 1/2 the ads are for root promoters, enzymes, bacteria, and I'm finally getting it. It occurred to me I'm not feeding the plant. I'm feeding the bacteria and they in turn feed the plant or produce catalysts or enzymes that enable the plant to uptake nutrition..... Like a hand in a glove. The hand is the root, the glove the bacterial zone surrounding it. Something I've already started is a very light feed with the piranha, tarantula, and voodoo juice to pregame the big pot a little before the schedule starts. Still missing a node or two on the PE to begin, but she'll catch up soon enough.

And I've read from day one: Big Pots make Big Roots which make Big plants. I've got a 140 holes to fill up in this screen, and I'd like to see a bud in every one of em. I actually walked around for a day talking myself out of doing 10s, LOL. 7s were my reality check. Guys at my hydrostore say 20s and 25s are getting kinda common.

A little old business before new business, and a preview of what's to come. Stitch's Love Potion, and getting the love it deserves. Took a pretty harsh burn when outdoor temps spiked. Flushed the pot of nutes and parked it outside under the sun. Got a nasty trim after the leaves turned up to the sky. All primary fan leaves fell off or got cut. At best a maybe, but I stuck it out and think I'll see some return. Sits at the edge of the LEC, and IMHO is doing better here than outside in the August sun. Upgraded to probably, the secondary leaves should pick up the slack. Bloom nutes started again.

And the new. Started Ferts under Tang's schedule today on Days 10-15. 6 bottles. Mixed up 1 liter. 1ml each: Grow A+B, Voodoo Juice, Tarantula, Piranha, and Terpinator. Watered each plant with 1 cup of the mix. Not a big fan of pics of small plants, but it's part of the ride. The 81 on the thermometer is more to reflect leaf temps, which should be a bit lower. A remote thermometer on the back wall out of the light shows 76. Humidity has been ranging from 50-60%. Pictures taken with an Ipad, under the LEC.

Hey Doc. Thats the line from the CO2 BoostBucket. With everything kinda open to keep temps down and even, piping it straight over the leaves seems the best way to keep it concentrated. It's hitting the PE in an effort to catch it up to the WW, but the medium is pretty exhausted. Refillable for $100, plugs right into the timed circuit. Supposed to last 3 months, but I had 4 good months with it. Makes a very noticeable difference. I'll be making that trip to the hydro store in a week or two. Need to refill my pockets. Theres a pic of the bucket up above. About the size of a gallon of milk and with the airline, doesnt need to be in the box.

Ok, let's catch up. A day late and a dollar short but things are going well on the grow. CO2 pumping again, picked up the B-52 and grabbed some more Terpinator. The big Widow at 8 or so weeks just won't give up the ghost. Rock hard nugs and they're starting to look drippy. Can't wait to get the scissors out. The Love Potion is chugging along but way, way behind. The little Widow and the PE are getting close to bend height for the scrog. Gonna need some space back real soon to lay the screen.
