I used an almost identical design for a while but found the level of droning noise it produced kept me from hearing my alarm clock in the morning and caused me to be late to work a few times. Just a heads up and if your grow is nowhere near your bedroom than no need to worry. Cheers!

water has a saturation point for added oxegen, and although maxing it out is supposedly best, if your getting a good healthy cloud of bubbles, you'll be fine. My entire grow went fine with a cheap, 2 outlet pump, hell I don't even know its volume output. But I can tell you, I grew some healthy plants! Don't over think DWC, set it up, dial it in, GROW!

Well that's good to hear, so i may be okay with this pump, there are plenty of bubbles just not a lot of surface eruption so i was worried about contact between roots and noots ;+}
I think i may invest in the sexy pump because it's future-proofing me, i'm looking at a grow-tent rather than my DIY box, and the grow tent is 4ft by 4ft, so i could have 4 buckets and that pump will easily suffice.

Little AKR lady has popped up :
Getting paid late so won't be able to order the nutes until tomorrow.
Do i have to bother buying added micronutrients or am i okay to just go with the basics ?

Day 3 for my little AKR baby.
She is sitting on top of the hydro hardware jsut waiting for the nutes to arrive tomorrow :
I moved the LED above the filter support bar, i had to turn the bar 90 so that it wouldn't block the LED :
Tomorrw the nutes will arrive, and the header tank for auto-topping, a couple of aquarium thermometers blah blah ..
I'm nicely stoned on some lovely local weed - so glad i moved to the country ;+}
Listening to The Planets (Gustav Holst) in 24 bits @ 96KHz FLAC
Can't wait to hear the nutes bubbling.
I'm going away for a whole week in two weeks so i hope the system can handle it ok, i've read of other unattended systems doing fine for a week, with pH and EC drift but nothing that killed the grow.

I've got a 168 lph (2800 ccpm) dual out and a 166 lph (44gph) single out and both really blow! Literally! LOL!! You could run a quad or 6-pack system off what you have with that 432lph as long as the rating is true (and it's not defective). No turbulence? That thing should be boiling! Is it turned up all the way? I noticed it's adjustable.

Never heard of that brand. After reading the page sounds like you should have no problem with using just the grow and bloom.

What would be better hydro-people, the more intense but less well-spread single-diffuser, or the less intense but more well-spread double diffuser ?
