Mephisto Genetics Sour Crack SoG Meds

Looks great gbd! I grew 4 Sour Crack clustered together in a hydro unit and got over 7 oz out of the grow. I think you're going to hit a Lb with no problem. If I had to guess I think your leaf problem is Mg deficiency. I've had it almost every grow under the LEDs. Keep up the good work!:slap:

Its going to get crowded in there GBD, Will you do any more sog grows after this? Do you think you should have used less pots to give the plants are better chance of reaching the light more equally? Just wondering what your thoughts are man, hope you dont mind me asking. They look nice man.

Thanks! Don't mind you asking at all, Grim! Yes, I'll definitely do a SoG again, particularly with Sour Crack since I know they stay short. This is my first time using this light and it's supposed to cover a 4x4 area so I'm waiting to see how it performs through flower before making any judgements about using fewer pots in the future. I'd also probably use more light rather than fewer pots. So far I think 36 is spot on for this strain. If I was to grow Hubbabubba, Sour Bubbly, or one of the other larger strains in the same manner I would probably only use 16 plants in this area. Maybe even less, depending on the size of the pots I was growing in. Using these 6 liter square pots seems to be a perfect combo for the Sour crack. Hope that helps to answer your question.

Thanks, jack. 7 ounces sounds like a lot of great smoke! My first Sour Crack was grown in DWC for the first half of it's life, then transplanted into super soil and turned out incredibly! She's an amazing plant. I think I've got a handle on the leaf situation with the addition of a few fans to help circulate the air. I've been adding cal/mag to their tea just in case they need it anyway. Thanks for the rep! Cheers!

I'm now kicking myself for not trying this method sooner. It's definitely the most efficient use of space and light that I've ever tried. Seeing all those tops under one light just feels right!

Looks alright,Aswell as feeling right! My good man.

Holy crap!!!

This is better then porn god damn it!!!

I can look at that perfect sog all day long...been staring at the last pictures way to long now....dreaming away to a future when I can grow again...

This grow is truly amazing and so are you for showing us,

I will slap you around a bit now boy....come here..... :slap:

Thanks, Justin. You're far too kind! Wait for the flowers to start building, then we'll get into some nice bud porn ;o) I look forward to you getting to a place that you're able to grow again too. My heart goes out to you for the shit you had to go through. Thanks for the rep, good sir.

Cheers!

A lot of love in this thread, nice! I am like Justin, just had to peak my head in the tent again to make sure it was real. You have had my mind wandering to an identical but larger setup in my room. Damn you gbd! I have no time for these upgrades, but man does it make the wheel turn. I have already said it but I really, really like that setup. Really. I am as excited, maybe more, about your ladies going into flowering than I am mine.

So glad to hear that I could pay the SoG love forward by getting your mind wheels turning! Based on my results so far the efficiency of this method just can't be beat! I can feel the love in here, it's what keeps me coming back to AFN! I appreciate the compliments and will do my damnedest to keep these ladies humming along right through the end! Here's to grown men getting excited over and enjoying the beauty of ancient flowers!

Heya, hairyman. Thank you for taking the time to go check out my other threads and for raining down a barrage of likes on me! I had 138 notifications when I woke up this morning. That doesn't happen often. I'm sure you'll do just fine with these ladies. They're a great plant for first time growers because they're so damn hardy! As long as you show them some love they'll show it to you right back! I've never been called someone's grow hero before. That's incredibly flattering, really. I just try to keep the plants happy and green, at least until the last few weeks. Best of luck with your Sour Cracks.

Cheers!
