She's Comparable to a 400 watt MH/HPS. But less heat and better spectrum and almost Twice as efficient. So more powerful than 315 cmh. Though no back to back comparison. Ceramic metal halide is a specialist bulb not very common Always liked 600 w HPS with warm spectrum for flowering. Wouldn't go back from LED especially now we're really getting some where come join the fun mate.

Welcome to AFN @mesg ! Sorry for the late reply and @Bunny is spot on, I dont add perlite no more just a thick layer at the top. To your base soil you can add 20-30%.

The end of the year has been quite mad but for the good so not gonna complain, but it meant I had hardly anytime to come on AFN.

Might try this girl again the smell is very tropical, fermented fruit type. The early problems meant a smaller then hoped harvest, but a great structure and buds all along the side branches (harvest pics coming soon). Amazing penetration by the Telos.

This is girl is the first with added Dolomite Lime to try and fix the recurrent issues I seem to have with deficiencies and it seems to have helped a lot considering I only used Mollasses once and no Cal mag or Epsom this time around (yet).
Read that Dolomite take a couple weeks to start acting as both a PH buffer and a mag provider. I will do a Epsom foliar mixed in some Overgrow just to be sure it doesnt go too bad. One of the squattest and tight nodded plant I have grown. The Telos as been kept at 85cm until sexing and now the stretch is slowly getting her closer to 70cm.

Really determined to nail the problem down and get back to growing some healthy ladies.

Also as a side note, adding my last 3 harvested girls it comes a little over 1G per watt which is a first for me, and without any doubt I think 2G/W can be achieve quite easily for some.

Happy Festivus AFN

Cleared a year worth of trim an bubble bagged the lot. Here is from one of the batches. Each batch was made with about 4 different strains... Terpenes galore...

The lot is back in the freezer for the moment got a tea sieve that should help with the next when i get around to it. Nearly 2 day of bubble making and my back couldn't bear much more, but finish product pics soon.

After the bubble the Cropical Fruit got the chop on day 86.

Should clear between 2-3oz on this girl, real shame about her early problems as she looks like she is going to be a nice smoke and could of produced a lot more...oh well. Smell is fruity, pine and earthy resinous buds. Scissor hash was lovely.

Now the current ladies.

00 Seeds Bubble Gum Auto Day 61
Done a bit of research and it seems that most of the harvest for this strain comes from the main cola ( which I snapped ) so will probably grow another one straight after I cut this one.

Smell and trichs coverage are amazing. Again this girl got some early problems so chop is delayed but should be ready in another couple weeks.

SStocker Blackberrygum Day 45

Managed to get this girl back on track after signs of mag defs, Overgrow spray/Epsom combo on foliar and didn't chuck the Equilibrium yet so have been giving 0.4ml per L everywatering. The leaves have now greened up all around the plant.
The structure on this girl started quite geometrical and even, but as the stretch began one side on the plant really took over one of the side being very close to the top bud level. Could this be due to the Dolomite being more concentrated on this side of the pot ? I really did mixed it truly and well..

Will mix a new batch for the next girl today so the Dolomite as 10 days to start doing the do.

Nice looking strains Bro. I always consider 3 Oz or more a successful harvest. Here's hoping the Cropical is closer to 3 zips. Ak 420 can get to a nice size, so here's hoping. I didn't get my bubble run together this Xmas so will do a run in the new year. Looks like a good haul of bubble, Nice. I want to try and dab (screen tech) some 73 or 90 micron so will do a Nug run and a trim run. Looking to get a nice supply of full melt organic resin! Looks as if you have already. Laters

Cheers bro. Same 3-4oz is kind of the ball park for me soon back to that I hope the Cropical came 2.5oz. Love a bit of bubble it's quite a process tho and my back always pays the price so only do it once a year no buds just the years trims. Gonna look into that screen tech sounds like a good way to get some melting going! Organics is were its at !
