Some help with drying/curing

Brown paper bags have treated me well in similar circumstances. I don't humidify the space I cure in and in the winter its 30-40%. I chop and trim the buds into about golf ball sized nugs. Line the bottom and just leave them in the bag. My last grow they were in the bags for 11 days before I put them in Grove bags and I still had to burp the bags. I've hung branches a few times and they cure waaaay to fast and too dry.
This is what I was looking for. Thank you for the input. Yea I live in a state with very high humidity, just not when it’s cold. And indoors where the heater is running it’s even worse. I’ve thought about hanging plants in my garage but at night it hovers right around freezing. Not sure that would be a good thing.

Ive gone by the saying to never put all your eggs in one basket. I like to split my harvests up. Several brown bags hanging and a couple branches hanging. I like to see the differences for myself. Hang produces nice sticky buds but if you don't have the environment, it won't work out. I've had good luck with the bags in both dry and humid time.

Man @420autoflower you're gonna be in trim jail for a minute taking care of those ladies lol. I told my wife I'm gonna teach her how to trim when those 12 plants I have going finish. Gonna have to be a team effort
Lol!
No kidding!
If it wasn’t for the bowl trimmer and the Trim Bag it would take me forever. I will hand trim the colas and use the bag or bowl for the lower stuff. I know they aren’t the ideal way to trim, but it saves me hours of work.

I know there is already a ton of threads on this subject but I’m hoping if I put my specific conditions out there someone may be able to help me. My house sits between 30&40 RH. I do not have space to have a humidifier going. Temp is a constant 70. The few plants I’ve tried to dry have either smelled like hay or ended up to dry. Im wondering if I only let buds dry for like 72 hours then put them in a paper bag until they’re 62 RH in the bag if I would see better results. 5 days drying ends up being to long for the buds even though the stalks don’t snap. Which is what I’ve been looking for.

any input would be appreciated
first off try to lower temp to under 68 if possible
I would say dry 4 days in a paper bag folded over 3 time on wire rack or open drawer something to allow air. Shake bag gently every 24hours to move buds u need to only do one layer fan leaves off like it would be in bag minus taking off sugar leaves do that after. Then when buds hold there shape and won't squish by the weight of other buds fill a paper bag to the brim with another paper bag over the top upside down to make a seal flip every 24 hours and open for 15 20 minutes in a week or two you should have a great consistency with evenly sweated buds then jar no wire rack for sweat trim then jar
So 4 day bag dry then sweat in full bag 1 or 2 weeks

I need to figure something out soon. I have some pretty amazing plants coming ready soon and I’d hate to ruin them during the dry…

You got some nice looking colas forming there.
Great job at getting rid of all the leaves. Your plants look very healthy and plenty of light penetration now.

I bought a couple different ones over time and I really like this WaCool unit with a remote reservoir. I just send a tube through one of the holes and pump vaporized air into the tent. There are a ton of options out there but I found it nice to open up floor space. The downside is it's only a gallon+ tank but I only refill maybe once a week.

That special reserve cookies III has been defoliated so many times and they just grow back lol. She’s very leafy.

I will need one that I can set a rh and it’ll maintain it. I’ll do some looking around. It’s gonna be in a room not a tent so idk if that one would work but than you for the suggestion.
