Do you guys add a few drainage holes to the bottom of your smart pots or just let the runoff drain through the fabric bottom?

it drains great right through the bag
when i flushed i set it on a milk crate
in the bathtub
these flush WAY-faster than plastic
nursery pots or buckets with drain holes

nope...a sm/pot is made of fabric...there are pics somewhere in this thread...

This is pretty much the bummer. I can't find the any smart pots in Europe online. Any EU burgers have a link? I could order them from the states but the shipping is out of this world.
What I found easily were the air pots. ~11$ for one 2 1/2 gallon pot.
Hmm... these decisions again...

Air pots and smart pots are pretty much the same thing mate, they both air prune the roots and do the same job:bong: if there easier to get hold of go with those

Sounds like an idea that might form into a plan. Thanks coop! :smokebuds:

I saw a video on you tube with the smart pots. All different sizes, many different plants (no weed -all shrubs, trees, etc.), all same age and soil and everything else, in fabric and in normal pots. The ones in fabric had double the roots and better growth and vegetation as well. I'm gonna grab those air pots unless I can find someplace here with fabric sooner.

There ya go bro,DIRTs come good for you :-) I'm gonna save that link I'd like to compare smart pots to the air pots i currently use
