Man I like those square pots! I'm in chin deep of sm/pots tho. Make sure you don't stakem tite together, they need air flow from all sides. Sure do like that square design! Let us know how they perform. Does water easly flow through em? How tall are those (3gal rite)? Thanx for sharing.

thanks
i'm working on roughly a 3ft deep x 5ft wide spot
for these 10..that will give me an inch or two off the floor
and a few inches beside each one.
the wife wants the things with rollers under them
so she can move them around if i get where i cant
or i get too messy.
i like the idea of watering in the bathtub on a milk crate too

You have sparked a interest in smart pots from back on the old site, I wanna try some also wanna try airpots.
I haven't tried smart pots but my 10 litre air pots arrived this morning and i'm pretty impressed the grid in the bottom of the pot is about 1.5 inch from the floor so you don't have to try and lift them like the smart pots and from what i have read from other peoples grows they certainly make a difference to overall plant quality and yield.
I'm gonna pot my autos up into them tonight so i'll post some pics if people are interested. Enjoi:smokebuds:

If i decide to try any of these, it would be airpots for that exact reason you said. No proping them off the floor is a plus. Even better start a grow journal and share the whole grow with us.

Will do Jackal just taken some pics a moment ago and i'll be on it asap thanks

i tried 1 this grow

its doing great

airpots are expensive...I've got over 30 sm/pots at $5 a pop. for a fella that only needs a handful its fine or if you have no budget. as far as a comparison in harvests i would say they were the same, they both do the same thing...altho a benefit airpots have is they dont need any kind of proping like spoons mentioned before.

I've never had a issue Scott, i keep mine off the floor w/ air flow all around them to insure that doesn't happen.

RSV and TBM suggested some cheaper pots, i found them i believe at my brew & grow store. the 3gal sm/pots are larger than these others that claim they are 3gal but they drain the same. they were $2.75 a pot...
