Florganics test

Amnesia by seed stockers... wk 1 of flower

After the worry of leaving the mix for to long and it being to hot, I did notice after 4 days from transplanting into the Florganics soil that there seemed to be a little burn starting at the tips on the new growth with the odd bit of clawing on a couple of larger fan leaves. Over all they seem happy and had started to go a nice deeper shade of green. Was a little worried so kept a close eye on them, checking a lot more than normal.

Fast forward a few days (about 3 days into flower) and its like nothing has happened, no more yellowing of the tips. They are just starting to think about exploding.

This was taken today (day 6 of flower) an hour after lights on (10 days after transplanting into the Floganics soil... or there about) The 2 Florganics pots are on the far right, you can see how they are that little bit deeper shade of green over the Remo feed coco pots to the left. I am being a little light on the nutes on Remo side.

Luck could be on my side for this grow and some how I've hit a sweet spot with these girls but it feels like the 2 Florganics pots are ahead of the coco pots. They look like they have that bit more vigor to them. Still could be the 2 test subject I chose being some tough girls.

Alien Rift Up Date... wk 8 of flower

Chop time some time end of next week I think. Here is some bud porn of the 3 keepers with flash and with out... "sticky icky" as Vader would say

The chunky monkey of the bunch, no 4. Very dense, very sticky and going to yield real well. I'm trying to pin point the smell but so far I would say gassy.

no 3... she is not as chunky as no 2, has a similar structure to the buds and man does she ever pack the frost on. We have nicked named her sparkles... also gonna punish my trimmers

florganics are looking good slater i think your in the clear so far .cant beleave its harest time for the alien rift already looking absolutely stuning whats the smelss like on the rift spicy piney lemon ?

Thanks Maria, will gets some pic's up later on the next up date, you wanna see them now... its like its been snowing, the maple sherbet skunks keeping them company look extremely green compared to the aliens white frosty sparkles.

Going to grow out pheno 2, 3, and 4 a couple of times to see who make the cut. Got a feeling I'm going to want to keep 2 of them.

I took 2 clones of each plant at the start of flower, was a very shakey start as well with the clones. Not my best effort by a long shot, was I worried i was going to loose at least half of them but the canna god's where smiling on my first reg pheno hunt and they all pulled through... thank f*** for that seen as those beans cost me an arm and a leg.

Nice. I used to always take 2 clones off my photo plants.
Just take the two branches from the first or second node.
Easy, and doesn't effect yield much at all.

Shanti Siva!

Great, first step is done and the yellow tips tell they hitted the 1:5 mix and still alive, next week they'll show off their strengh i guess, looking forward to yours.

I'm trying to pin that smell down, its one I haven't had yet in the garden. Its not on the sweet/berry spectrum. I'm going to get the misses to have a good whiff later, she has a much better nose than me, uses it loads for her Gin blog/instagram. I'm getting more and more nose blind as I grow, I worry some day that if my filter starts to go, will I be able to smell it.

I think we got lucky with some hungry girls this time round. If it had been the Zombie Kush's that I had just grown then I think we may have had an issue... so you ready for the laugh then as I try and get that space under control, lights are on at 7pm and I'm betting that they have stepped it up proper when I open that door.

What's next ?

Now the Florganics test is under way and the Alien Rift pheno hunt is about to finish I'm thinking of the next grow to be show cased in the garden thread and @DutchPassionTony has given me the idea...

As you may have seen a few pages back I grew out Maple Sherbet x Pre89 Skunk by Seed Stockers, great strain, really enjoyed the grow. Great yield, packs a punch, won't let you down. What I did find out of 6 seeds I popped was something special... well we think it could be special.
The plant it self had grenade sized buds, rock hard, super super greasy to the touch, very frosty compared to the rest in the tent that she did look white and man the best lemon terps I've ever smelt. We have nicked named her "lemon chello". Man you wanna smell her on the cure, she also tastes like she smells. She really stood out from the crown in the tent... there is not much left in the jar, just 2 buds of this size in the pic... I smoke way too much

PSX_20180526_112447.jpg

I know, I know not the greatest of rim jobs... trim job, trim job Slater... giggle

So I dropped Dutch Passion Tony a message and mentioned what I had found. Now he thinks it could be the rare "white skunk" phenotype and by the sounds of it a cut to be loved and cherished. Also a cut that could be sort after and maybe make a name for her self... maybe.

Well we think that's what it could be, so in about 5 weeks as tent 2 becomes free we will be documenting this cut and crossing fingers its what Tony say's it is... even if it isn't, its still a very special lady that I will be keeping around for some time. Never had a plant to truly tick all the boxes up until now.

Here she is and a couple of the clones have started to show roots.
