Except for frost and trichome coverage, what else where you looking at when picking out keepers? Flower stretch? Yield? Anything special?

Ok, met my supersoil friend today and told him about yours, first he was laughing for a couple of minutes, but that's what he says:

There is a 50:50 chance that they will do it, the mean thing will be the switch for hormones from hand watered minerals to the organic stuff and he guess plants need about 2-3 weeks for it, but IF they gonna do it, you'll have the most hardest training time you've ever had, maybe calculating to eliminate another 2 others plants to get enough space:smoking:

Good morning @Ryker604_BT

sorry for the late reply but I will explain in my journal up date later...

What I'm looking for mainly in my keepers is how they work in my system. Yes yield and frost are right up there but stretch comes first on my list, then frost, then yield. Not to worried about time so finishing doesn't come into it. When you pop a few bean of the same you soon you can tell when one is standing out from the crowd...

I will say this though it comes down to the final cure and smoke in the end. Not all plants cure as well as other, I now understand how an elite cut get its title. It ticks all the boxes in the g'room and cure's and taste like its smells... to be honest with you I've only had a few of plants do that... On my last dry all 6 Maple Sherbet skunks dried in the same room, same temps, same air movement, same every thing and only one plant really locked in the smell and taste. The others got more of the hay smell until you grind them... so some times the hey smell could be just the plant not being as smelly as you would like... just a theory.

Nice reply dude, interesting to hear. I get you about the stretch due to your restricted space and I figured that the curing and drying part is critical. Thank you :d5:.

One more question, when you are looking for a mom, you cut the clones during veg or you reveg your favorite phenos?

Thanks Maria, will gets some pic's up later on the next up date, you wanna see them now... its like its been snowing, the maple sherbet skunks keeping them company look extremely green compared to the aliens white frosty sparkles.

Going to grow out pheno 2, 3, and 4 a couple of times to see who make the cut. Got a feeling I'm going to want to keep 2 of them.

I took 2 clones of each plant at the start of flower, was a very shakey start as well with the clones. Not my best effort by a long shot, was I worried i was going to loose at least half of them but the canna god's where smiling on my first reg pheno hunt and they all pulled through... thank f*** for that seen as those beans cost me an arm and a leg.

so far I've been cloning, taking them just as i'm about to go in to flower. But that might change on the Florganics test, due to space issues and that I want to run something else after the Amnesia I'm just going to have re-veg if any look like a keeper... Also they are seed stockers, not expensive seeds, very stable, I have faith I could find that keeper again if I wanted.

Best way to go about it is to take clones in veg if you have space to run them revegging works for sure But in some case the plant can mutate and change some aspects of how it grows etc
