New Grower Short Stuff Gorilla OG coco grow with autopots

As I was reading the beginning of this thread I was asking myself did I start this? Seems like I'm growing a lot of short stuff seeds these days and in Cocoa.

I often pre-charge my Coco with my seedling nutrients and my Cal Mag. Often I'll leave out the grow nutrients because the Cal Mag has plenty of nitrogen for young seedling. The main reason I do it that way and most people would advise against doing it my way is because the seedlings so often will be past their first set of leaves by the time I feed them the first time. So I want them to have that cal-mag on board because I've had second set of leaves in less than 7 days at times. So really it's going to depend upon how Optimum your conditions are, I would say that you probably won't need to put in the Cal Mag right away. The rapid rooters will usually give you a good fast start, but all they are is Coco with a week seedling mix General Hydroponics nutrients. So I always plant my seedlings directly into the Coco. That gives them a little bit faster start.

Nuglet, i precharged my coco also. CalMag, Recharge, i will have to go back and look at my journal to see exactly what i used. Seems to have worked well so far.

3 of my 6 plants i also used a layer of guano when originally potting. I will use a guano brew during flowering, i just wanted to see if it made any difference in the long run soil wise.

Few pics from the side door - LED is back on as well and cookin

That one is the runty one - well was! It had the most stretch as a seedling like 3 times more. I buried it deeper to compensate - but she’s come at it like she’s on steroids! Maybe a 9 week and done? Other 3 about a week or so behind I think in development. I’d be happy with that stagger!

I had a fast-growing phenotype that finished earlier than the others. It developed a rounder type of Bud easier to trim.
