New Grower Short Stuff Gorilla OG coco grow with autopots

Hi all weekly update, approaching week 9. Still going strong & really sticky in there. Tried to do some more defol but have broken a couple of stems reaching around in there in the process so think I'll leave it now. Goes in the lessons learnt box for next time. Although more by luck than planning most of the growth is above scrog level so not a lot zombie popcorn to worry about - and if these girls fatten up now in the last part i'm gonna have a big ol load for lil ol me anyways.

PH is at 6, humidity 50. Temp 75

My EC is at 2.3. But no sign of burn and they've almost done the whole 20 gallon tank in a week again.

Canna schedule says to ramp down feed last couple of weeks, but might do one more feed at the higher strength as guess that schedule is for photos and see where we go. any thoughts @jingo @komplex180

Although I've got it in I was going to give Overdrive a miss on this grow to get a Canna benchmark based on their personalised schedule, I'm running Canna A&B, plus PK & all the standard stuff calmag, rhizo (min dose), zyme & Silica. Anyone have any thoughts on whether i can stop calmag now? Especially as i double dosed last feed!

Guessing I'm heading for an 11 week finish as there's still la lot of white pistils and leaves aren't showing any sign of dying anytime soon.

Wish i had a better camera, some of these colas are nearly a foot long in the middle of the Jungle.

Looking fwd to trying my Christmas gift from Santa out - got a Spin Pro to help with the harvest. I've got arthritis n stuff going on in my joints so scissors were proving to be an issue after a short while. Last time felt like my hands were on fire so thought I'd bite the bullet. Heard mixed reports but a lot of good, someone was saying to spray the grid and buds with water as that stops it gumming up. Well we'll see in a few weeks eh?!

Yeah it can be tricky but the weed sure does help soften everything out! Looking fwd to what my Spin Pro machine will do come trim time. Really didn't enjoy that on the last couple of grows.

I don't know what to tell you with the autopots as far as the calmag goes, I keep it going all the way through at the same rate though.

I've added some back in @jingo - min strength, so that should hopefully top up what evers left in the coco. Getting super frosty now so keeping my eye out for when those leaves start to turn. How did the trichs go for you? Ddi you go by leaves or amount of amber when you pulled your GG?

I'm curious to see how that goes for you, I trim kind of loose because of carpal tunnel. I also dictate everything on the phone, which is why sometimes things are kind of screwed up.

I had two phenotypes, the faster finishing one I took in the mostly cloudy stage. It just had kind of a sativa look to it. The two others were bushy phenotypes and I don't remember where I took the first one what it look like but I waited on the second one till it was so Amber to where the buds came out almost brown.

So basically I had three different kinds of highs to try like that early Harvest was a daytime and then the other two were the evening with the darker one being nighty night.

Sorry to hear that Jingo not cool. I’ve read more good than bad on the spin pro - only recurring issue is resin sticking to the grate which I’ve seen a few peeps saying they overcome by spraying with water when you spin.

I’m not selling on and I’m vaping so if they don’t come out perfect it’s no big deal to me.

Like your thoughts on harvest - sounds like a good plan

Canopy is looking good . One of favorite parts of the day is shaping, trimming and tucking the limbs/leaves. I have been growing tropical perennials for many years.
Have done a pretty good bit vertical gardening with the vines. Too much fun.
