So a week on and the girls seem to be off to a good start

Lowered temp a bit and raised light by 10 inches so now 28 inches above plants.

Still gives me a temp reading at leaf level with my laser thermometer of 75

Curling seems to have slowed, slight yellow tinge/blotchy to leaves but I’m probably being over cautious - what do you think @jingo

Giving them 250 ml every 2 days quarter strength formulec and rhizo. Still hand feeding was going to wait til leaves are touching side of pot before turning auto pot resevoir on.

Lights are running 24:0

Humidity 62%

I went back and looked at the seedlings from my grow of the OG. I had temperatures of 79 degrees Fahrenheit humidity in the 60s and one seedling with a little bit of leaf curl up around the edges. I don't know if that's the one that grew real tall and fast or if it was one of the bushy types.

I would say yours are showing classic symptoms of heat stress and you've made the proper adjustments. They should straighten out in a day or two if that was the issue.

They seem to be experiencing Some other kind of stress right now and I haven't really wanted to say anything because I wasn't sure what it is. Did you wash those clay Pebbles really well when you first bought them? They can be very alkaline and cause problems with younger plants if not washed thoroughly.

If you're running a 5 watt LED, or I mean one of those old LEDs that have the 5-watt chips then you might want to be 36 inches above those seedlings. Any other kind of light 28 inch should be okay I would think?

I don't see them having real big problems and I'm not saying you should worry, but if they don't straighten out in a day or two I'd run them over to the Infirmary.

Thanks @jingo yep I washed and washed under my ro supply tap then ph’d at 6 for 24hrs.

Used an old net pot to scoop em out and could see dust had settled on the bottom of the tub I had them soaking in.

The curl started before I added the pebbles and I’m only watering direct around bottom of plant.

Light is a Phillips 300w CDM

I’ve only just made height adjustment so will give it 24hrs & see what happens

Thanks as always

So a couple of days on and looking better @jingo Those hotter leaves have started to unfold. Temp is now 73.5 at leaf level. 300w CDM lamp is at 32 inches above the plants. Humidity 60%

Autopot reservoir is now turned on & I'm following cannas light feeding schedule and added in some calmag - think the leaves are showing it could do with some.

25 litres in res EC is 1.3 or PPM 650

I'll put some photos up after a bit more action but happy to report 24hrs after turning on - I can see only good vibes! One thing that I'm thinking on @jingo is height, i believe these girls can get pretty big - I've got a vaulted roof tent like 5.5 foot high 4 foot wide. But the reflector probably sucks up at least a foot and distance from plant makes me think I'm going to have to LST or scrog these. Any thoughts from your perspective on that? I've got a bungee scrog net from my initial buy that I didn't use - think it clips on to the poles.

In for the ride! I’m growing a couple of the same myself

If your internode spacing stays small than you probably will be okay. If your main stem grows Too Tall then you could end up with issues, I usually start plucking leaves off my main stem if it's growing too fast. If I'm lucky all the tops kind of level each other out and I end up with a 36 inch tall plant that's about 36 inches around. That's the way I like to grow

I think if I were going to try a different method I would probably put in a scrog or honestly it would be more of a horizontal screen to help you keep your canopy level.
