New Grower Second attempt at autos

It's days 34. Tied em down. I should have done it about a week ago, but they are still pretty flexible and it's my first try at it. The white widows are starting to show. Hoping for some decent buds.

White widows..yup, there's 2 in that bucket!

FFHP soil in 5 gallon buckets
3 Giixer 1000watt led lights (cheap but has flower/veg options
2x northern lights (seedsman)
2x lemon (seedsman)
3x White Widow (Dutch passion)
nutes (when I need them) are FF trio
Heat at 75F
R/h is at 35 - 40
Water ph is 5.8

I wanted to put a humidifier in there to bring up the R/h but the wife is worried about mold... we'll see how they turn out.

Here we go rolling into week 5, day 37. Seeing some good growth now. They bounced back from the bondage and the side branches are getting longer.

Question for the community, is it too early to chop off some fan leaves to let in more light?

Are you serious about removing leaves?

I take a wire about the size of a bread tie & wrap up the leave in 1 hand and twist the wire around it. After that it's also easier to tuck under other growth! Eventually, I remove the leaf after a couple weeks. I believe it's less stressful on the plant! :pass:

I was trying to tuck them to let some of the lower branches get more light and thought it may be easier to just cut that fan leaf off. Glad I asked. Thanks @Delps8 and @Need4Weed

Looks like I am going to be doing some tying down today, trying to keep an even canopy.

There's no need to do anything with those leaves. The fact that a leaf is not getting direct light does not mean that the leaves above it need to me moved. Leaves play multiple roles in plant growth, photosynthesis is only one of them.

These are my 39 day old Gorilla Glue autos. They've been trained to spread horizontally so they're short and there are a lot of leaves, all of which are playing a role in growing the plant.

Day 40, getting a little bigger, so I tied them down some more. These are going to turn out like little bansai bushes. One of the Northern Lights is small, I'll be surprised if I get anything off of her.
