Mephisto Genetics Samsquatch×HBSS and Cosmic Queen in Hybrid Soil Amended

Good going!
If my recent escapades are any sort of measure, that transplanted BS is going to come into her own soon too! :D
Love how those stems are stabilizing on the CQs now - while the BS1 is perfection in person, I admit I'm quite partial to CQ#1 - just look at her :cooldance::cooldance::cooldance:haha!
Are you going to train her?
Cheers! :pass:
Thanks calliandra! Ya the transplant went uber smooth, let the starter pot dry out a lil, and the medium held together nicely while transplanting. BS 1 is doing best right now, but who knows what 2 weeks from now looks like. CQ [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] is doing really well too, CQ [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] is only 1 day younger, but looks more like 3-4 days behind. Time will tell, I have to pick 1 of these girls by the 30 day mark, to be my horse for the rest of the battle, so I will have hard choices at that point. Got a feeling CQ [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] will be exploding soon, she's got a lot going on in those lil branches already.
Training, I usually just leaf tuck and bend branches, any suggestions?

Haha i get the feeling it's going to be a tough choice to make between so much loveliness :dancer:

Yes I definitely suggest you do that, I find both my girls, though they're structured a bit differently, would have profited from that.
Think wide early on, I'd say! (I wish I had, and it's what I have in mind for the next round)
Then, depending on how enthusiastic the tertiary branches are, you can go for a candelabra or a carpet style haha
(Tester bud time here, Sissi's a goofy smoke and is making me want to use hand signals lol)
OK trying to focus :haha:
I took pix of Woozy n Sissis branches to show you what I mean, lets see if I can get them uploaded
:woohoo:
here we go

2018-02-16_day73_branching (2).JPG

See how Sissis growth is more like a pyramid, whilst Woozy's is more like a cylinder?
Sissi is a real mess in her undergrowth - it's like a goo of fluffy cotton candy down there, just stickier lol
They just couldn't develop right, and leaving them longer isn't going to change that, just trich ripening.
Had I been able to really spread her out, however! I'm sure they would've made for some really nice extra budness - the carpet lol - between cola towers :smoking:
Woozy on the other hand, yes she really could use more horizontal space too, but her overall structure goes more to the candelabra side for sure

Of course, all these observations based on the fact that I did remove leaves in masses at times that weren't the best, because of overly high humidity. It may be better to remove less of the original fan leaves (thinking you can safely remove all the fan leaves off the main stem) and create space by training, maybe that contributed to the leafiness of my buds too ;)

Just my 2c, hope it helps :coco:
Cheers! :jointman:

So sorry I forgot to reply! My bad. Thank you so much for that info, they're doing so good, I don't dare mess with them right now. I like the idea of the candelabra, is it just simply a matter of topping her?

Nah it's cool, I was just curious what you ended up doing :D
The thing with the candelabra shape and the carpet shape - it was just meant to describe the two phenos I have growing, as a help perhaps for your decisions as to training these girls, that's all.
Looks like I need to stop posting while high on Cosmic Queen in future haha
cheers ;)

Oh gotcha, I was a bit confused, I haven't done any lst at all. Everything is so compact right now that I'm not sure I can do anything, except maybe topping/fimming. Raised the lights a few inches to hopefully let em stretch a tad, and at least be able to tuck some leaves.
Glad to hear the CQ wrecks you, even uncured, impressive.
I'll update tomorrow, slipped on some ice today and effed up my ankle, real bad. Total gimp right now. :face:

ouchies! hoping it calms down again and nothing got torn or whatnot. :goodluck: I'm a total believer in giving things a rest when they're hurting :wiz:

yeah, wet the CQ was smooth and funny and relaxing in a mild sort of way, dry she's become pretty strong - and I've been smoking pretty much daily for the past 2 years or so and have had Sklyar White on the menu lately haha
So really looking forward to how she develops with the cure!

Cheers!
