Everyone loses some like that. I lost a few to infrequent misting and no humidity dome. Good to hear three are up and running! It's a learning experience and my own history is I've lost a number of seeds before I started getting it right.I think that ytoucan probably go online and figure out what your freebie is after it grows a bit. I had a hard time reading my freebie skyrone stomped until I saw someone else talk about it. Either way it's Mephisto and it will be good. Thanks for the positive encouragement.
Side note, I have found toof decay to be a very low odour strain and it makes a great stealth plant.glad I have more. I hope the grape crinkle is low odour too. I have a goal of eventually in my life breeding a no smell strain for supper stealth grows. A no odor strain would just be great.

I replied to your pm, but to state some of it here. this is a great way for newbies to get their feet wet without a lot of physical hassle. plus it can be done for a few hundred bucks max. tent approx $80-$100, seeds $50-$100 (for enough to last a while), pots $30, spikes $12 or less, light $80, fans $30, odor removal (the most expensive part) $100. So all said and done about $500 for everything, and within 2 runs if you get a zip per plant and do 2-3 plants, you've made your investment back based on costs of medical cannabis in mmj states.
That's what I tried to do and did studied spent grew my set up is paid for in first grow thanks to afn.

What is your water source? im wondering if somehow there's a microbe that is killing them off before they can get started. Are they being stored in a dry area? Your username indicates you live in the south which can get hot and sticky and maybe they just used up their stored energy fast? Did they all coem from the same place? (I forget if i asked you that already, it was a sleepless night for me.) I know the first few days of life are where I end up losing my seedlings because i wasn't giving them enough water or I was giving too much water.
I bet you have a lot better results now that you have a few grows under your belt. :smoking:
I also have found mephisto seeds tend to be more resilient than other breeder's seeds, I wodner if its because of their ruderalis strain is stronger than others or if it's because they breed them for tougher conditions.

I'll get some photos here soon of the girl as she is at day 46 plus or minus a few days (I lost track and cba to go and find the start date).

Here she is with lights out around day 46 or so. Two weeks to go! She will be watered today.

She's looking even better today, i have been watering her every day and i just touched her and my hands are all sticky. Sadly not enough for finger hash though, i think everyone enjoys some finger hash when using gloves and growing their plants. Hot and sticky sounds like no fun, i don't like sticky at all. Hot and dry is fine, but not sticky. Humidity is killer and is a huge pain in the behind. My grape crinkle is floppy but im trying to let it grow on its own. its not growing big because the nutes haven't hit it yet, but i expect in the next two or three days it will get nice and start growing big. If not, I'll add more nutes as a top dressing and flush the pot so the nutes get in to the soil more. I think these mephisto beans can handle a more hot soil than some other breeders can.
im glad everything is going well for you now, and I definitely could use one so here ya go :pass:

That's what I'm trying to do with the ewc I top dressed hoping watering it won't take long to work there's a lot of frost on those leaves those are going to make some goodies I've yet to get finger hash scissor hash some not a lot my fingers were black on the ends for days from trimming and not wearing gloves look like i stuck them in ink it was strange lol

I've got nitrile gloves so i can go and take the finger hash off of the gloves and the scissors together. It's going to be a good time trimming. I am not sure if ill have the sugar leaves some people think ill have, the plant isn't super tall. but i am impressed with the weight its put on in the last 24 hours. it went from having some visible stalk on the main cola to none at all and the buds grew about a cm in width in 24 hours time. Here's an easy way to get rid of that black tar from your hands after trimming: petroleum jelly or another thing that plumbers use a lot called goop hand cleaner (the later doing a better job than the former).
