The local weed supply shop in my town is selling mushroom spawn kits now ya canada, but he can't sell weed seeds, boo canada
i bought refill for my kit, mexicana something or other i think.

Yeah, so the spores and mycelia are legal in Canada, but growing, possessing, and consuming them shrooms is all illegal. Weird.

As for the cannabis seeds, IMHO Big Tobacco is trying to control the entire cannabis market. We are allowed to grow 4 plants, but they won't sell us seeds or clones. Ludicrous!

City of Vancouver, BC has passed law that decriminalizes simple possession of drugs for personal use. I assume they mean scheduled drugs.

I strongly doubt that producing your own will be included.... but shrooms are gaining more acceptance in society.

I hope that more cities, provinces, states, follow suit, because most of the harms to users (and society) are done by the expensive legal system.

Well, not exactly. They can still take them away but within the Municipality of Vancouver the local police won't charge you. All the surrounding areas are policed by RCMP, and possession is still a federal and provincial crime, so it depends on the cop and how you relate to them. In my parts they are strict- no head-shops, no dispensaries, or even karaoke bars.

I can tell you that the majority of police chiefs in Canada are in favour of decriminalization. The see the waste of time, energy, and huge sums of money ruining ordinary people's careers, families, etc, but they must do their job as long is it is law.

Sort of the same here in that its up to the cops either to warn you or charge you. Sound like they are pretty hardcore in your area. I feel, that out here , sure there would be nice cops who would like decriminalzation, reminds me a news story sometime ago here, an ex cop son was ill in short he turned to cannabis for his sons pain.

Cannabis busts amounts for most arrests here i think i read, so they should be putting resources for the real drugs and stopping that. Its a plant that has many medical qualities including the shrooms.
