Indoor Professional cannabis growers!

I believe that the commercial growers, both medical and recreational, do weigh the cost/benefit of letting a plant go past a certain age. Because the commercial growers in the legal states are having a very hard time keeping up with demand, the decision to take at the earliest maturation would make good financial reason. Us, as personal consumpton growers, want the biggest, most potent harvest regardless to having to patiently wait while mother nature does her thing. It's my understanding that amber trichs are caused by decompision of thc, so the first amber I see is my trigger to only give PHed water. Usually in a week or so most of the leaves have yellowed and I chop when I have no clears left. Works for my personal preference.

Well done guys , good constructive debate and excellent reading , I have learn't a lot from all the replies and as a new grower I find this threads help a lot to understand the different ideas out there .

That is what its all about hecno, sharing information and past experiences. This is a hobby that takes time as its always the next grow where that new found info learned, can be put to good use.

Lol not digging bro I actually enjoyed reading it all :)

A polite reply tends to solve the problem, maybe some can read like that, sadly I cannot

No, no not complaining, just found it very hard to read as for me its starts off a sentence but turrns into a black wall it does not help with that >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> box type thing to the side of the thread reducing the overall size of the posts.

maybe someone knows if you can remove it?

You can collapse the New Forum Posts, Photo of the Month, and Tag Cloud by clicking on the little arrow icon in the upper right of each little box.

Also, as to the sentence thing, remember that this is an international community brother. Lots of people from all over the world, lots of people from all sorts of different backgrounds, languages, language barriers, and grammar skill levels. I know a lot of people that still type each key staring at the keyboard doing the "one pointer finger per key" typing. Sometimes guys post from their phone where it's not as easy to post something that looks nice and neat. My point is, give the guy a break and lighten up a bit bro :d5: This isn't the grammar police :Sharing One:

Joedirt: If anyone has a right to be mad at you it's me, you made me snort in public :roflcry:

Some people water once a week, others every few days, myself due to access can water as and when i like or as the plants needs, . Do you think salt build up is an issue if watering less in volume but more regularly as apposed to total saturation which takes days - a week to dry out

The water always flows out the bottom of the pot or sides and is always sucked back up within 6 hours. I just now dump 2 liters in the pot and be done with it. Does this daily feeding keep salt build up to a minimum meaning even less of a flush would be needed come the finish line.

I don't leave the water in the tray, I'd be interested to find out how many people leave it to be sucked back up and how many dump it or vacuum it up. I think to differing degrees we all get salt/mineral/ion buildups, whether we're organic or not. Try growing in a fabric pot some time and look at the outside over time you'll see this white buildup on the outside. A lot of the nutrient sources we feed our plants come in salt forms, it's not like we're knowingly adding salt to our mixes or nutrients(other than Epsom obviously).

That does not work, all it does is close it up, it does not remove it and allow the thread to fully use the whole page. Personally i think its unneeded, there is a new post button at the top of the page and the rest could be put else where too.

I care not for grammar and have not said this in any other thread only a thread I made and as I am interested in all reply's, I would like to be able to read them all.

I am growing in fabric pots, but no one has even liked or commented on my grow yet  I am starting to think its invisible to everyone lol.

Yes there is white showing on the outside. I also put this down to hard water and limescale along with salt build up.

It's down to your browser Organic :)

I use firefox and when i click the arrow, the whole page expands. Same with Safari on the Ipad.
I guess you're using a mobile or internet explorer or chrome? (not tested those)

Alot of the Mods rely on the side bar - it helps us spot any nonsense before it gets out of control! :) There's usually somebody watching all day! (nice job eh! lol)

Hope this helps!
Blue ^_^
