Greetings! I have a series of questions I hope I can have answered. I am going to commencing a closet grow when my autos arrive in the next ten days or so. In the meantime I need to tackle some environmental aspects to my growspace. I live in a place where winters are cold and dry, at times reaching temperatures of -40f. Central heating can only do so much, I am worried my grow space will be too cold, roughly 60 degrees or so. Is it unorthodox to put a heater in with a plant or plants? Also, is it unorthodox to use a humidifier to increase moisture content in the air with it being such a dry time of the year? I have a hygrometer/thermometer on its way, so I will be able to access the atmosphere of my space. I should of prefaced, my grow space is just a bedroom closet, Im utilizing the lower half, rough 4x2x4. Im looking into to wrapping dome mylar on the walls. My lighsource will be an LED panel, so there I will be losing heat emission in the lighting arena too. So, there is the scoop. I don't want to be hurting and stunting growth with low temps and dry air. I am new to all of this and I saw that as one of my first obstacles. Look forward to some feedback!

Hey...welcome to the site! I am not an indoor expert, but I can throw up some answers.
I'd personally avoid using a heater. Need more heat add more lights. LED panels will heat up the space for sure. I find that each of my panels raise it about 6 degrees in my 54" long X 20"deep X 38" space. I would use a humidifier though. My space is extremely dry as well (33% this afternoon) and my plants are growing just fine.(I don't have a humidifier)

You're on it GS, thanks.

No problem...what are you planning on using for ventilation? Running small fans to keep the air moving?
Correct. I have a total of 5 feminized autos coming from the single seed center. Depending if all of them pop and which ones are female, I realistically see myself taking care of one, maybe two plants to maturation. Could you remmecond specifications for LED panels on the market that would be adequate for that number of plants? I am still in the market, and could use a point of reference.

In my space I am running 4 plants under X2 LED Panels. One is a mars hydro 100X3w (180 real draw) and one is an ebay bought (LEDlightseller) which I also 100X3w (165w real draw). I just started up the lights 14 days ago, so far so good. My slight problem is heat, which you shouldn't have, due to your cooler overall location.
What strains did you get?

Seems like a solid setup, I dig. Hopefully I can get there. No really crazy strains, dam price of BitCoin went down so I got bit in the ass and wasn't able to purchase as liberally as I originally intended. It was Auto AK, Diesel Auto, Krippleberry Auto, Amnesia Auto, and Blueberry Auto.

And you say some are not feminized auto seed? Which breeders? Dutch passion auto Blue?

Check out guys journals. Do searches for the individual strains you bought and check out grows using the same strains. You will learn a shatload in those threads.
