Update:
Things are going well in the garden. My big DD x Cheese is flowering finally. I counted 60 budsites this morning! I'll post a pic of her later, Going to set up the good camera for that.
The ESD Kush is looking rough. My fault though, this shows it doesn't pay to rush when mixing DWC nutes. I'd added baking soda to raise the ph and I tested too soon. Ph in the bucket was 7.1!! I gave her a fresh bucket, properly ph'd.... hoping she recovers, its a beautiful plant.
I have 4 Auto Cush x Chemdoging sprouted and 2 more in 8oz cups about to sprout! I soaked and sent to paper towel, 14 of my Auto Cush x Chemdoging seeds that ranged from green to parially brown. I had a 50% germ rate and tossed one sprout. Pretty good from seeds not fully ripened!
And I have the honor of growing an exciting new strain form a private breeder. That already nicely sprouted seedling is: Yoda's Dragons Breath. I'm very honored and excited to be growing this. I'll split off a thread for her after this.
The cabs are humming right along also! My Dragon Kush is about a week from harvest. She is almost one solid bud from top to the stem base!! 10" tall, I'm betting this little girl is going to give a surprising harvest for her size! I'll do a guess the dry weight for rep points when its done.
And my DD x Cheese cross is looking very good also. She's got 12 nice buds building! Not consider, she's bigger than my Dragon Kush, and in a pot 1/2 the size! She's in a 1/2 gallon pot growing in recycled organic potting soil, amended with a tablespoon of GrowMore Organic soil Builder. I've given it water with cal/mag once. All else she's had is RO water. In a pot next to her is a very little Stone Dragon. She went into flower when I went to 12/12 with the lights, to trigger the DD x Cheese, which didn't auto. Well guess the SD wasn't auto either...lol! I figure I'll get a bud about the size of a peanut M&M...LOL!
In the veg cab, my Kratky buckets are looking real fine! Mini 2, with the Sour Dragon in her, is flowered and building buds! Looks like she will turnout real nice. Might be a real tribute to this method, we'll see! The SD on mini 1 is doing well, but she too got dosed with the fresh res mix that was ph'd too high. I took her out of the bucket, and in a glass of RO water while I adjusted the PH in her bucket. She's now at a stable 5.8. Hopefully, she isn't too damaged, she really looked like she would be impressive for a plant growing in about 20 oz of water!
Also in that cab is my entry in the beercan growoff. She's small but very nice growth going on.
There are 2 mystery plants from my jar of mystery seeds from last summer's grow. A suspect these may be Blueberry Headband x ( Fire x C99 x 18 )but I'll never besure in the cross. The BBH traits are distinctive though when in late veg. The color is a dark bvvlueish green, very striking when you see it.
And last, and not in the picture are 2, 8oz cups with Auto Cush x Chemding seeds that had sprouted in a paper towel. Waiting to see if the finish sprouting.
