Indoor PGH x ALF#3 - Testing for JM and seed run

Very nice Kindred! Congrats on the harvest. The girls are beautiful.

very nice brother looks nice and frosty +rep on your harvest:smokebuds:

Nice little surprise....

Cheers Captain and L3V3R!! :smokebuds:

A little while ago, I opened up my drying chamber and took out a small nug from #1 to see how the drying was coming along. I gave the stem a bend and it snapped most of the way through, but not cleanly. I didn't think they would be quite that dry after only 40 hours of dry time, but it's been really dry in the house due to the wood stove going. So... I took a little peek at the bud... and got a little antsy................. :smokeit:

Decided to pick the seeds out of it and do a little tester bowl. The bud is dry enough to burn, but definitely has a bit to go in hang time before going into cure. The smell when breaking it up is slightly skunky, a little tiny bit of a floral note, with a good bit of lemon smell mixed in.

And here are the 20 good beans that came out of that little branch.

Just took three pulls off the pipe.......................

This is going to be some amazing medicine :jump: Within a minute, I had the gremlins with their little microscrubbers scrubbing the backs of my eyeballs. Super clear, uplifting and calming.... I can't wait to see how it is once it's dried and cured.

Amazing work on the ALF#3 Wiz and Bailer  It's definitely turned the PGH into something special - and gave it purple!!!! Cheers guys :peace:

 Sounds and looks great mate! Some top shelf smoke and lotsa beans - can't ask for much more. Nice splash of purple too - though I do like the overall clean whiteness of those ladies too.

#4 Harvest

Hey guys and gals. Quick update before I crash. Took down #4 tonight. Finished height was 32.5" with 14" of vertical root space. She's loaded with beans and sticky as all get-out. Also splashes of red and purple throughout. I was kind of sad to take her down... it's been fun watching her reach for the sky..... but I need the space and I wanted to take advantage of her sati effects. This one smelled like a combination of lemon and lilacs when I was cutting it up. Can't wait for the smoke report...

Cheers :peace:

#6 Harvest

And here's #6. This one was identical in structure to #4, but has a paint thinner / diesel fuel smell on top of the lemon tones. Lots more purples and reds than the others at first glance. Finished height was 23" with 12" of vertical root space.

Second-to-last pic is of the triplet seeds in one calyx. Pretty neat - haven't seen it before. There's another identical set of triplets opposite the one pictured.

Last shot is of my little drying chamber filled with #4 and #6.

Seed Count / Smoke Report

Cheers guys... The ALF's are definitely something special :wiz:

Soooooo.... ummmmmm....... I guess I didn't need to pollinate quite as many bud sites as I did....

..... but I wanted to be sure that I got seeds!! LOL

Combined count from the two LST'd plants was 435. Count from #1 was 422. I do believe there will be enough to get to F3.

The smokeable bud from #1 started the curing process two days ago. I've been taking the lid off for 5-10 minutes about 10 times a day. The smell is delicious. There's definitely a strong sweetness coming into the smell - kinda like Sweet Tarts. Since I've been out of smoke and low on funds, I've been medicating with this all day and all I can say is . Even with it just going into cure, it burns cleanly and evenly and leaves white ash in the bottom of the bowl. The taste is amazing. Sweet and skunky. Maybe it's just me, but every true Kush that I've ever smoked has left a distinctive lingering taste on my tongue and a feeling on the roof of my mouth. I get this big time with the smoke from #1. It's a good thing that I chopped #4 and #6 because I could rip through the #1 stash in the blink of an eye. I need to lock it up so that I can enjoy it when it fully cures.

Cheers :peace:
