I'm sure there are some better designs than this floating around on the interwebs. After seeing the basic design in the Cervantes Bible, I figured I had to have enough random shit laying around to chuck something similar together.

My materials list: (and please don't feel the need to hold back your laughter)

- (2) Freshly rolled joints
- (1) Rubbermaid bin
- (1) Mirror, picture frame glass, smooth metal surface sized to fit inside the bottom of the bin
- (2) 5-gallon bucket lids
- (enough) 150-micron silkscreen (purchased mine from artist supply store)
- (1) Barbecue rotisserie
- (1) Tent pole with at least 4 equal-length sections
- (2) Electrical conduit fittings
- (1) Something-or-other that is round to use to cover the hole in bucket lid
- (1) hose clamp with screw head tightener (for controlling drill speed)
- (a bunch of) Guerilla tape
- (some) duct tape

Tools needed:

- Drill
- Drill bits
- (2) More freshly rolled joints

And pics:

If you're going to build one, I definitely wouldn't use any type of plastic bin that is the material like the Rubbermaid I used. The static electricity created is a real bastard and draws a bunch of trichs to the bin's walls. A metal box or cooler with smooth inner walls would be ideal, as would a plastic cooler with smooth, glossy inner walls.

Also, my setup has metal turning on metal where the rotisserie goes through the electrical conduit fittings. Plus, the rotisserie is square, not round, so it was taking some metal shavings off as it wobbled up and down. I wrapped the these contact points in multiple layers of Guerilla tape. If you're going to go the "Rube Route", I would recommend: a) using something that's round and not square for your crankshaft ; and b) not using materials that are going to spit off shavings when they rub together.

Oh... and an electric motor with a rheostat to control its speed would be exponentially better than trying to dial in that screw head on the clamp. Plus, it's really not too friendly on the drill having to spin at those slow speeds for extended periods of time.

I wound up only collecting what fell onto the picture frame glass in the bottom of the bin for the hash. The stuff on the walls (some trichs, but a more plant material) was thrown back in with the trim and will be used with edibles.

Thanks KS, I really appreciate you taking the time post this up

Check out the different models so you know what it really SHOULD look like. She's got some sweet stuff on the site. Groovy lady!
