Indoor PGH x ALF#3 - Testing for JM and seed run

Pic Update

Thanks man! I lost about an hour that night just staring at the trichs with the camera. Good fun!!

Here are some pics from tonight. #1 (second to be pictured) just got the start of the flush cycle tonight. The trichs are mostly milky now, but I've been holding off to make sure the seeds had a chance to develop to maturity. Plus, I've been having a flareup of an old back injury and some amber trichs would be most welcome for relief. I'm going to flush for 10 days using bubbled water and put her in the dark for the last 3 days of the flush. (Thanks for the tip, C.E!!)

Thanks gents :smokebuds:

As you can see, I have a bit of a Mg deficiency due to my pH dropping low over this past week. Been slowly bringing pH back up and have noticed a little bit of a rebound. One thing I didn't do this grow that I've done in past is add dolomite lime and epsom salt to my soil mix when I switched over to ProMix BX. I wanted to see how the soil behaved on its own and make up for any deficiencies using the nutes. I will definitely add the dolomite lime to buffer pH for the next grow, regardless of the strain. The next generation of PGH x ALF#3 will also get some epsom in the mix - I didn't have any problems with Mg deficiency the first time I ran the PGH and that mix had epsom and dolomite. Not sure if I'll add epsom to the mix for autos though... seems like it would be best to keep the soil as pure as possible until they start needing nutes?

sweet as bro

great shots

Very nice kindred. I enjoy all the pics. Keep up the great work. Hopefully not to many more crosses until they start to auto for you. Green karma dance

Cheers guys! Next round I should start to see some autos joining the party

Well - today is Thanksgiving - and I wanted to give thanks by harvesting!! Decided it was time to take down the two plants I had LST'd. They were flushed for a week but weren't put in any dark period. There's very little smokeable bud since both girls have so many beans on them, and what's left after taking seeds out is going to be tumbled in my homemade pollinator to make some hash. Definitely going to do the dark period on all smokeable harvests from here on out though.

Here are pics of what I am thankful for (among many other things, including all of you :smokebuds:) I collected probably +/- 40 beans as I was trimming that were jumping ship from their bracts. If I had to venture a guess, I would say there are somewhere around 150 more left on the two of them.

:peace:

Its not a day we strictly follow here in Aus - but never hurts to be thankful - so happy thanksgiving to you mate and to all!
