Well the flash santas flopped. One didnt germ and the other is a mutant with 1 leave. Thankfully both Snow Ryders popped up and I threw 2 Auto Assasins in a paper towel just to make sure I get one female at least. As a control test 1 can is not drilled on the sides at all to see the differences.

are those your party cup entries they looked tiered into a 2nd cup isnt that more than 16 oz of dirt ?

You are correct on them being tiered but only partially correct on the soil amounts.
There are nine there that are in cups, 6 of the 9 are in 8oz cups tiered into 8oz cups =16 oz of dirt......
there are three of them that went from 8oz to an 16oz those are not part of the competition, they are another test

I love the double tiered method, FD. If you win this thing, next time somebody's going to try stacking 3 or 4 5oz cups to max out that tap root.

Well figured I'd post some pics of my version of the air pot party cup... 4 LR2s in classic party cups upside down, bottom is quarter inch wire mesh. Once they take off they will be sitting on an mesh table, hopefully maxing out the spread of the roots before/if they circle the cup...
