namvet - she was living on a 240 Blackstar for her first 30 days. Then I had to move the Blackstar to a 12/12 tent for a different plant. From then on she was under a 4 bulb t5HO Badboy 4 foot fixture.

led and fluorescents!!! time to say bye bye to my hps, its definatly had its day, im now using cfl grow bulbs but wouldnt mind a few t5 badboys in my new room too after seeing this!!

Thanks p.l.u.r.! Your name takes me back to the late 90's warehouse parties. I too am impressed with the Badboy. I got it off craigslist for 150 with bulbs. First grow with them.

the rave scene is still going strong in the uk, i dj at a few of them.. i must say though the partys aint quite like they was when i first started going, 9 years ago.. money is a bit tight at the min but maybe when things get a bit better i'll invest in some t5ho's..

hey bongloader, i totally see what your saying about not getting rid of the hps, but my last grow i stared with cfl's and ended with hps, i was more impressed with what my cfls did in comparison to my hps, also imo hps just waste too much heat making them inefficient and expensive to run. im not saying t5's arnt hot or that they are super efficient but for the growspace i will be using i feel it would be more benificial to me not to use my super hot hps..

times are moving on we cant live in the past forever.. Evolution!!!!
