Long story short..I used a Universal compo that I Liked and suited my grow style....price went up..hubby moaned..so I tried alternate universals which were a lot cheaper..they were Crap.....absolute rubbish..
but..since some of them were a third of the price of the one I liked..I had to try...

Crap on canna and me veggies/flowers.

Sooo...I went back to a seedling compo..which didn't burn them..But..didn't suit my style of growing coz they have just about zero nutrients in..and I don't usually fert..

Few weeks ago I bought a couple of bags of the compo I used to run..and got 38 out of 39 germs in it...

Put the same seed in the old seed compo..sporadic germ....

Same seed in the old Universal and have almost complete germ rates again....so it looks like I'm stuck with the 13 euros for 50 ltrs universal compo. ..and I'll have to live with hubby moaning about the price...

Yup..smelled and tasted.....she is Very Rich..basal..and mature smelling.....

Got some nice fresh chicken eggs.....fed on the Best..all my garden mistakes get fed to them.....they especially Love bud rot tomatoes..

You know....I Think I have made a very basic mistake..with compost...

I've been running a Test with ALF#3..and I Think some of the problems I have had recently might be down to that....I have had sporadic germ problems and stumpies..and I think it might be the compo choice.

Ah..Fingers Crossed..we'll see how it plays out.

Nice pics mossy! I have around a dozen hot pepper plants growing....2 are Ring of Fire variety, and 10 are Jalepeno's(all made into poppers with our own bacon and homemade cottage cheese)

@JM made himself a greenhouse out of tree branches and poly sheeting.....he even had an underground heating system built in...it Looked Amazing...

Weeeell..I have Wondered this before..
I'd say most seed producers will do their production Indoor under lights for quality control..but if so..do they lose the natural hardiness.
My girls did 20 plus generations outdoor..and they are Hardy.....do you lose this with indoor seed.
I Wonder if Mephisto do their girls indoor or out..

Hey @Mossy no havent gotten to try the glueberry yet very excited to tho but have tried my lemon skunk..... It has a citrus fruity taste crossed with ....hmm baby carrots is the taste im getting.... Little skunky taste compared to the smell of skunk she has smoke is pretty smooth n mellow but definitely a night time med smoked this yesterday before work n was NOT a good idea lol was brain fried n every time i took a cig break i was literally catching myself nodding off trying to nap lol

the sun shines on your beauties! so good to see, I'm facing more days of dark and wet. I think the tall pheno Sour D/dina is a total winner too. Stretchy tall good for the greenhouse, and the one I have outdoors is awesomely feral

So lil update gladiators.....glueberry og 3 weeks into flowers n not showing any signs of slowing down on the bud growth and the trics!! Definitely seeing the gorilla glue in it looking very very sticky.... But the smell is a very sweet fruity smell followed my a dank skunk smell....lovin it!!! Will definitely have some in my indoor grow this winter as well as outside next year fantastic strain so far!!....also my lemon skunk is dry!! Very dank smelling sweet citrus with a harsh skunk smell mixed in and the high is very heavy definitely a bed time med! Hope everyone is getting a little flowering karma headed their way!! Happy growing gladiators!!

are you making your own compost? Only prob with mine is plants getting too big, lol, Just kidding, I like big, just don't want them growing through the roof.
